"And that should wrap everything up, I think," Daniel looked around at the circle of dragons from atop Ruin's shoulder.
Everyone had just spent the last four hours speaking one by one about their perspectives on the entire situation over the past month or so.
As such, everyone now had an almost perfect understanding of what's been going on from everyone's side.
Hailstorm shook his head briefly.
"Wow, alright, that was a lot to take in."
"Agreed," Star added. "But at least we're all on the same lines on what's been going on."
Moon nodded as she looked over to Anemone and Sundew, who were sitting side by side. Tamarin a wing around Anemone while Cricket awkwardly sat next to Sundew, keeping her distance lightly.
"I can't believe you guys decided to come after us, especially you, Anemone. I thought you would've run with the queens after what Turtle did to you."
Anemone shuddered, and Daniel caught a glimpse of Turtle's spectre, or anti-spectre as Ruin called it.
Turns out that Turtle wasn't actually a spectre, or he was, but he was a different type.
It was hard for Daniel to wrap his head around, but according to Ruin. Spectres can actually have three forms: base spectres, bonded spectres, and anti-spectres.
Daniel was already familiar with the first two. But unlike the other two, Anti-spectres are essentially the exact opposite of base spectres.
Instead of appearing as a black shadow, they match the scale colour that the physical body of the spectre had when they were alive.
It also turns out that Anti-spectres can only form after the death of the host, AND if they already had an existing base spectre before death.
An anti-spectre is what a base spectre becomes if the original soul of the deceased dragon manages to take control and essentially overpower the original spectre.
In which case, the base spectre would be eradicated unless forced to rebuild itself by external force.
'Whatever that was supposed to mean,' Daniel thought to himself.
In the end, he didn't fully understand it, but the gist was that Turtle wasn't exactly alive, but he wasn't dead either.
And from the looks of it, Karma was gone.
It was very weird, but Daniel was glad his friend was technically still with them all.
'Besides, we're really going to win this; we're going to need all the help we can get'
Daniel looked at the group again. They were in deep discussion surrounding the whole rescue plan thing that they had going on.
"So yeah, Sundew and I actually became great friends." Anemone smiled as she briefly wrapped a wing around Sundew, pulling her into a platonic hug.
Sundew grumbled but didn't pull away until Anemone retracted her wing.
"See! She loves it."
"Don't push your luck, pink girl." Sundew spat, but there wasnt any real threat behind her words.
"Pink girl? That's a new one." Anemone chuckled.
"Though a little unoriginal, don't you think?"
Sundew smirked.
"Would you rather I call you two salt lickers then?"
She pointed at Tamarin and Anemone with two claws.
Tamarin looked at her and raised a brow.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Sundew laughed.
"I think you both know what it means." She let out a devilish smirk.
Anemone tilted her head to the side, but realisation soon dawned on her.
Her face reddened like a tomato within a few second and Tamarin's scales flushed pink briefly.
