The next morning I tried to get up before Xavier. But he was already in the bathroom by the time I got out the bed. I quickly grabbed a pair of leggings and one of Xavier's shirts and ran to the guest room to shower and brush my teeth. Once I got myself together, I made my way downstairs so I could go to class. "No kiss before you go?" I heard him ask from the top of the stairs. "I'm gonna be late." I whined as he came down with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Just kiss me one last time, please."

I tried not to let the shit eating grin that was threatening to make its way on my face show. I got on the tips of my toes once he was close and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. He clearly wasn't satisfied because he grabbed my arm and pulled me back into him.

He pressed his lips to mine and moved them slowly. He kissed me slowly for a few seconds and then it started to turn into greed. I pulled away and pecked his lips twice more before backing away. "I'm gonna miss the way you taste, amor."

I let out a soft whine. "Don't start." I warned. With the right words he and I would be in the same position we were in last night. His hands found my waist and he pulled me closer. "Why not?" He whispered in my ear. "You've got an hour and a half to get to class. I only live thirty minutes from campus." He reasoned.

I didn't want to say no. I couldn't say no. He pulled back enough to see my face and his eyes bored into mine. My lips parted slightly as his gaze flickered towards them. "We have fifteen minutes, Xavier."

"I can make you scream in five." He chuckled.

I made it to class only five minutes late. I couldn't even focus on whatever we were talking about all I could think of is Xavier. Halfway through he sent me a text with an image attached. I quickly lowered my brightness and prayed that the privacy screen actually worked.

It was a picture of his back. Around his shoulder blades were red with long scratches going down towards his torso.

You might as well have wrote your name

I replied with an apology and a wink emoji.

He texted back within seconds.

'Maybe I should just get it tattooed ;)'

I laughed quietly to myself. He's scared of needles, he would never do that. I replied saying, "you wouldn't lol".

He only replied with a smiley face.

I held back my smile and put my phone away. After class I got something to eat and went to the lounge to study for my quiz in my next class.

"Luna!"

I jumped at the sound of a shrill scream of my name. I pulled my airpod out ceasing the music playing in my ears to find the source of the scream.

Arias sudden appearance gave me something like whiplash. "I was calling your name for like a whole minute." She laughed.

"I had to tell her you had AirPods in and couldn't hear." Paris said as she dropped down on the chair beside me. "Hey y'all."

"Hey yourself."

"We were just coming from Xavier's office and saw you in here. What are you up to?"

"Just finishing off this paper. It's the last one for this class." I told her. "Oh cool! I can't wait for the semester to be over." Aria groane as she plopped beside me. "Trust me I don't think anyone wants that more than me right now." I mumbled.

"Tough classes?" Paris asked. "You have no idea."

"Girl I feel you, pre law is no joke!" Paris huffed.

"It'll all pay off in the end ladies." Aria sighed. "Ooo by the way, we're having a party of sorts for Xavier at the end of the month. Well technically it's the Saturday after finals week. You should come!"

"Party? What for?" I asked as if I didn't already have a pretty good idea.

"You know he's resigning?"

"Oh right."

"Yeah, so we're gonna have like a small thing at his house just to celebrate. He's supposed to be reopening up his private firm in July. So I thought why not have a party for his accomplishments." Aria shrugged.

"He would definitely love to have you there, so don't forget." Paris told me. "I'll send you the official invitation tomorrow but it's on May 6th at 6pm. It'll be more of a dinner party not just straight up partying." Aria added.

"I'll definitely be there."

"Oh great. Let me just add that to the things I need to add on the e vite."

"What are you doing later, Lu?"

"Nothing much. Had something in mind?" I asked. "We were gonna go to get something to eat and then walk around target looking good for no reason."

"I'm down."

"We'll pick you up." Paris affirmed. "Sounds good. Y'all headed to class?" I asked when they started to stand back up.

"Yeah, my professor likes to lock the door five after."

"Damn okay, see y'all later."

They waved on their way out and I got back to work. Well I didn't really get back to work but I tried. My mind just kept going back to how things would go when I get to be with Xavier again.

I spent almost every day praying that things would be the same if not better. We've got 16 days. And I'd be counting down until the minute I see him again.
