I sat in my mirror with a YouTube video by Jackie Aina playing and a slew of products laid out on my desk.

"What is that she has? I don't think I have that." I mumbled. "It's primer, you have that right there."

Nadia stood over me braiding my hair while I attempted to learn how to do my makeup. I could do that easy stuff like my eyebrows and mascara. But I wanted to try eyeshadow and foundation. I put on the primer Nadia pointed to and waited for the next step.

As I did so her phone began to ring. She checked it quickly but rolled her eyes when she saw who it was and declined the call. "Who was that?" I asked curiously.

"Erin, she's been phone stalking me."

"Have you spoken to her since y'all broke up at all?"

"No. She keeps calling me though like multiple times in a day."

"A couple weeks ago she actually tried to corner me while I was leaving my lecture. She sounded crazy talking about how, she hoped I wasn't talking to you and that you weren't an Angel. All this crazy stuff. Maybe I should get a restraining order."

"Yeah maybe you should if she's doing all that. Why'd you break up again?"

"She was too controlling and all she did was talk about you. I was sick of it and it was weird. It was like she wanted to date you and not me with how much she brung you up. But then sometimes she'd have it in her head that I was somehow cheating on her with you. That's why I stopped talking to you. She just kept insinuating that you wanted me. I'm really sorry about that." She apologized.

I remained silent as I processed her words. "Yeah get that restraining order. She sound crazy."

Her phone started to ring again.  "Here she goes again."

I opened my mouth to tell her about what had happened the past couple days because I was starting to really believe the whole thing was Erin's fault. But if I started I'd have to explain everything. Something I'm not prepared to do just yet. "Bitch stop calling me. I don't want to talk!"

I jumped slightly at the sound of Nadia suddenly yelling. I didn't expect her to answer the phone. She hung up and sat the phone on the desk next to mine.

I need to find that bitch because it's clear she's the one who told. But after I beat her up, then what? That's not going to make her stop. She could call the police on me for assaulting her. Then I'll be in more trouble than she will.

What I need to do is get low like she did. Be exploitative like she has. I'd need help. "Nadia I have to tell you something."

Our gazes clashed through the mirror. "What's up?"

I sighed and told her everything. Everything about Xavier and what had happened recently. I voiced my suspicions and asked her to help me.

"Ooh that bitch is gonna wish we never met." She grumbled. "First we have to prove it."

"And when we do, she's going down."

Nadia was literally plotting a plan while she finished braiding my hair. When she was done we conspired together to find a way to get Erin to admit that she was responsible.
