"So if you had to chose would you rather be a frog or a turtle?"

"A turtle. A snapping turtle actually."

"No way I thought you would've said a frog."

I burst out laughing at the sound of disbelief that emitted from Xaviers voice. I quickly covered my mouth for fear of waking my neighbors with my cackling. "why'd you think that?"

"Your favorite princess movie is the one with the frog."

"That's a good point. but nah I feel like turtles are living secret lives in their shells. I'm just trying to be in on it."

He chuckled deeply at that. "You do make a good point. But i'd be a frog."

"Why?"

"I have absolutely no reason. I just used to have a frog obsession when I was younger. I could name every type when I was like 12. Couldn't tell you a single thing now."

"i can absolutely believe that." I laughed softly. "Why aren't you asleep?"

I tapped my Ipad beside me and the time read 12:06am. "I just can't sleep i don't know. Why are you up?"

"Would you believe me if i said I just want to keep talking to you?"

"I could. But you were with me all day. Not sick of me yet?"

"I could never be sick of you."

"I find that hard to believe. I'm not always the most entertaining to be around." I replied as I turned onto my side. "That may be true but I'm not tired of you yet."

"Emphasis on the word yet...anywho, What's your middle name?" I queried. "Santino."

"Xavier Santino Nixon?" I tried the whole thing out and it rolled off the tongue perfectly. "Yeah. I technically have two last names but I just use the one. The other is Sandoval."

"I like it, it sounds so...smooth."

"What's your full name?"

"Luna Faith Genesis."

"Your name sounds like a character in a syfy novel." He chuckled. I laughed with him for a second before his laughter stopped completely. "Shit hold on Luna I'm getting a work call."

Before I could even respond he was hanging up. I pulled the phone away from my face and stared at it for a second before dropping it on the bed. A work call at this hour?

I sighed and sat up to go to the bathroom. By the time I came back out I had a text from Xavier waiting for me.

Xavier:
Sorry I had to hang up my client, her boyfriend, and their bodyguards got arrested. I'll call you in the morning Love.

I typed a quick response, letting him know to tell me if he needed anything and sat my phone on the dresser. I guess I'm forced to go to sleep now.

I woke up no more than 6 hours later with a slight crick in my neck and a feeling of motivation. I was up early with nothing to do. I tried to go back to sleep but to no avail so i decided to just get up and get myself together.

I found some comfortable clothes to put on, so i can go grocery shopping. As I made my way to the door I texted Xavier to check in on him.

He didn't text me back until I arrived at the market.

'Not looking great. Trying to expedite a meeting with the judge. I'll probably be in my office all day.'
