After what seemed like the longest finals week of my life it was finally over. For the first time in...probably my whole life i wanted to go out and celebrate. Unfortunately though I couldn't do that with Nadia because she was still ignoring me.

Instead I'd be going out with my brother. He turns 18 today and he wanted to come stay with me for the weekend surprisingly. I thought he'd rather go out with his friends but he's going out with them the day he goes back home.

Tonight we're gonna be going to this sushi place. It looks fancy and he told me I had to dress nicely or he'd leave me at home. He literally planned the details of my outfit from pinterest.

"It's about time you're here! I swear i've been sitting here all day bored as hell." Lucas exclaimed from the couch.

"I bet you have. Did you even take a shower?"

"Yes actually, All I have to do is put my clothes on. I wanted to at least be halfway ready since you said you were straightening your hair. We both know that's gonna take four hours."

"Hopefully it won't. I washed it earlier and put a deep conditioning treatment in before i went to take my final. That's why it's slicked down like this."

"Well get to it. We have places to be."

"Yeah, yeah."

As I made my way to my bedroom Nadia came out of hers. She didn't even acknowledge me. "Whats up Luke." She greeted.

I rolled my eyes and shut my door once I entered my room. I got my hair together first and after I had curled it exactly how I wanted I started to get dressed.

I pulled on my black latex pants first because I knew it would take me a minute. Then I put on the black corset top. I felt like my clothes were slowly suffocating me. I wasn't expecting the corset to be so...exposing either but i swallowed my discomfort and wore it anyway. I pulled on my fur lined leather jacket and sat on the bed to put my shoes on.

Once I got the black heels on I was set. I was way out side of my comfort zone. So much so that I had to stand in the mirror and give myself a pep talk to cool the impending anxiety attack. "Come on, Luna. It's not that bad. Just breathe." I mumbled to myself.

I walked out of my room with a nervous expression but when I stepped into the living room Lucas' reaction made me feel more confident. "Now that's how you clear a bitch!"

"Where did you learn that at?" I laughed. "Amari."

"Let's go."

He was already dressed in his black jeans, black t shirt, leather jacket, and a pair of expensive sneakers. Dior to be exact. As if he read my mind he pointed to his shoes and said, "You like? Toby's dad got them as a gift for my birthday."

"Hell yes I like them."

"See it pays off to have rich white friends." He joked. "You play too much. Come on."

"I'm just saying." He shrugged as he followed me to the door. "Do you have that ID?"

"Yes Ma'am."

"You're driving?"

"No ma'am."

I groaned as we made it to the elevator.

45 minutes later we ended up at this fancy restaurant. Since he showed up rich because of his birthday money and my dad sent me some cash we're gonna be eating good tonight.

"What are you gonna eat?"

"I don't know. This stuff sounds too fancy for me. And where's the price?"

"It's the number next to it. I swear some people are so classless."

"Shut up." I mumbled and flicked the paper from my straw at him. "I didn't see it."

"You don't see much though, so I'm not surprised."

"I genuinely don't like you."

"I think I'm gonna get this spider roll with this spider crab stuff."

"I'm getting stir fry noodles with some sushi i'm not sure what kind yet."

"Hurry up I don't want you being slow when the waiter gets here. I hate when mommy does that."

"Me too and then she asks the waiter a thousand and one questions." I added. "Right, just pick something goddamnit."

Eating out with my mom gives me a special kind of anxiety. By the time the waiter came over I thankfully had what I wanted figured out.

"So what's up with Nadia?" He asked after the waiter left. I shrugged and brushed my hair over my shoulder. "Nothing I feel like detailing." I huffed.

"Damn y'all got into it?"

"Not really it's just...you know how she was being weird to me after the night you came to get me?"

"Yeah. She was being rude as hell during dinner too."

"Well yeah so I was trying to ask if she was okay or if I did something wrong and she blew up on me about being a buzz kill. It's just like I know that I'm not always the most fun to go out with. But how long has she known me? She knows that I've never liked partying. And on top of that at the party she took me too, no one even remembered my name. I was really sitting by myself drinking the whole time so like...how could I be any fun when I wasn't even included."

"True. It's not like you even asked to go with she just took you there."

"That's what I was trying to explain to her. Maybe she was upset that I left but she quite literally told me to go. She hadn't even been drinking and those are her friends."

"Maybe it's that. Could something have happened after you left? Cause I just think it's weird for her to have just came out of nowhere and blew up on you."

"I would ask her but she's been avoiding me."

"Maybe go and ask her when you get back. She knows you. Y'all have been friends for your whole lives damn near so if she's pissed about that and nothing else that's crazy. Cause we already know you don't party."
