Sure enough Xavier did know a place. It was the fanciest dress store I'd ever seen in my entire life. He claimed it was on the way to this mysterious place he was taking me so we stopped here about an hour and a half into our drive.
I stepped inside of the building with my mouth slightly agape. "When I said I needed a dress, I meant one that I could afford." I deadpanned when I looked at the price of one dress.
$10,000
"Oh don't worry about that. My treat."
My eyes nearly bugged out of my head and I used my hand to go behind my ear. "Come again?"
"I got it." He said as he leaned closer to me. "No, nope, no thank you. Let's go while the traffic is still light." I said as I started to make my way back to the door.
He quickly grabbed my hand and spun me around to face him. Our chests were nearly touching and he stared down at me with a serious expression.
"It's funny that you think you can just walk away. Pick out a dress and some shoes and after that We can get you a mask. I'm not asking, Luna."
My wide eyes lowered a little bit and my surprise quickly turned into lust. He was so attractive when he was demanding. I nodded and he let me go.
"You should try this one. I have a feeling red would look great on you." He smiled.
I nodded and found my size. We picked out about five more and then I went to try them on. He sat just outside of the dressing room holding my phone and wallet.
The first dress I chose was the white one. Getting into it was hard so that immediately gave me a red flag. When I finally got it on I had to hold my chest because my boobs were quite literally spilling out of it.
"Can I see now?" Xavier asked. "No this one makes me look like a cow." I grumbled.
"Oh it can't be that bad."
I opened the door to show him and his eyes widened a little bit before he smiled. "You look beautiful."
"Don't lie to me Xavier." I huffed. "I'm being honest. If that were just for me to see it would be perfect." He said as he wiggled his eyebrows.
I burst out laughing and went back into the dressing room. The next dress reminded me of a bug, the green dress was ill fitted, the red wasn't my style, and the pink just wasn't cute.
I finally got around to the last dress and pulled on the smooth material. It's a black fitted, floor length dress that has several black jewels and such on it to make the black pop. The neckline is extremely low and the straps were damn near non existent. Although the chest area looked really tiny It actually gave me a good amount of coverage. "I'd need a matching shaw."
"It really shows a lot of cleavage and I don't know if i like that. But it's pretty." I spoke as I made my way out. I held onto the back of the dress because I couldn't zip It up.
The way he looked at me made me feel like he was trying to devour me with his eyes. "This is definitely the one."
"You think so?!" I asked as I turned to the mirror. "Absolutely, you look beautiful."
I changed back into my clothes and came back out with the stuff. I know you could leave clothes in the dressing room for the employees to bring out but I much preferred putting it back myself.
I got a nice pair of heels to go with it and we were on our way. "Thank you Xavier. I really appreciate it." I told him for the fifth time.
"You're welcome love."
The rest of our drive was about another hour and fifteen minutes before I realized where we were. "The Poconos?!" I exclaimed with a wide smile.
I didn't even think he'd remember that conversation we had about him wanting to come here. "You told me you've never been and I figured it would be fun."
I basically had my whole face pressed against the window as I watched the snowy hills and the long strips of land covered in snow. After another five minutes we made it up this long driveway that led to a nicely sized Cabin. It was so pretty on the outside I could only imagine the inside.
I was so distracted by the house I didn't notice him getting out of the car and coming around to my side. "Oh, thank you."
I took his extended hand and he helped me out before grabbing our bags.
"Here let me carry something."
He handed me the lightest bag which happened to be the one with my new shoes in it. We made our way inside and I was in awe. The cabin was beautiful with high ceilings and a warm wooden aura.
There were floor to ceiling windows in the living room, a nice brown leather couch, and beautiful decor. "This is so nice."
"Thanks my mom did all the decorating. Come with me I'll show you to your room."
I followed after him mindlessly taking everything in. He led me to the last door at the end of the hallway upstairs. It was decorated simply with a balcony overlooking the back yard. "I'll let you get settled in and then we can head over to the main road to grab some groceries. I'm cooking dinner tonight."
I nodded and took my bag out of his hands. I didn't really need to do much so I just took a few minutes looking around the room at everything. It was so nice. I wonder what his room looks like.
I closed the door as I made my way into the hallway and went to the living room to wait. I sat on the edge of the couch not wanting to make myself too comfortable.
I waited for about five minutes before Xavier made an appearance. "You ready?"
I nodded wordlessly and took his extended hand.
