"Luna! Get up we are going to be late!" I shot up out my bed and tripped over the sheets trying to get to the bathroom. I had one job and it was to not be late for class.

"Nadia, what time is it!" I asked my best friend and roommate as I quickly squirted out too much toothpaste onto my tooth brush. I groaned from irritation as I wiped some of it off.

"6:15!" She replied. I was about to put my tooth brush to my mouth but stopped in my tracks.

"We don't have to be to class until 9 and you just said we were going to be late!" She appeared in the door way with a innocent smile. "I know I just love messing with you." She said. I rolled my eyes and continued to brush my teeth.

I love her but I swear sometimes I could kill her.
"Aw is someone upset?" She cooed. I waved her off and rinsed my mouth with mouth wash.

"I'm not a baby." I commented.

"You're adorable." She said pulling my cheeks. I swatted her hands away and got in my bed. As expected she climbed under the covers with me. She had no perception of personal space and invaded mine as often as she could.

She has been doing so practically our whole life. I remember in sophomore year everybody thought I was her girlfriend because of how touchy she is. But honestly I think most girls and their bestfriends get those assumptions.

"What's the plans for the weekend?" She asked me.

"Um, we can go to the arcade then eat dinner and go see a movie." I suggested looking at her green eyes.

"Sounds boring." She said as she scoffed. "It's not boring it's fun."

"We aren't in high school anymore. We don't have to go to the arcade. We can actually go out." She reminded me.

"You know parties aren't my thing." I mumbled. "That's how you meet people! You kept up the no parties thing for freshman year. This year we're going to have fun."

"I want you to come out of your shell more, ya know."

"I feel like I have. Was attending the pole dancing classes not coming out of my shell enough?" I asked.

"It was but you're still hella shy just doing that. I know you do your thing in here with your personal pole, but damn it I wanna go out somewhere and shake my ass on a bar with you." She said dramatically.

"And you know that's never gonna happen." I laughed. "Yeah I know it's a bit dramatic but you get the idea. Come on just go to one party with me."

"I'll think about it." I settled for that response. I wouldn't tell her I would for sure because she'd absolutely hold me to that. "I'll settle for that answer. Just for now." She replied.

We laid around for an hour longer laughing and watching tv until it was time for us to really get ready.

"What's the weather like?" I asked her as I stepped into the living room. "It's 80 degrees."

"Damn!" I exclaimed.

"Yes it's shorts weather."

"It's not that hot." I mumbled. "It's too hot for that hoodie."

"I'm getting in my car where there's air and in the lecture halls where it's freezing."

I was wearing a simple pair of jeans and a hoodie with black and blue Jordan 1's. It's only school. I'm sure tons of others students would be wearing something similar. "There's a hole in it." Nadia deadpanned.

I pulled the sleeves over my hands and shrugged. "No one will see it."

"I'll never understand why you always wear that thing. It's faded and again there's a hole." She pointed out. I just shrugged as I started to feel self conscious. "I'm not trying to come down on you I hope it didn't sound like it. I just don't get why you don't wanna at least wear one of the newer hoodies."

"Can we just go?" I huffed.

I Grabbed my book bag and keys before going out behind her. "We're taking your car." I nodded and unlocked the doors once we approached it. I got in the passengers seat and allowed her to drive. She started the car and pulled off towards our first class.

After my second class I was more than tired. Why did i decide it was okay to schedule four classes in one day. In my first classes we went through the syllabus and book stuff. I had Nadia in all of them but for my last class today, she wasn't in it. We had the same major, Criminal Justice. But I also minor in psychology. She was done for the day but I just had this last class to get through.

When I got to the class there were a few people here, I walked to the back and sat down. It took no time for the class to fill up though.

I kept to myself, especially since I didn't know anyone in this class. The class was supposed to begin at 3:30. It was now 3:32 and the professor hadn't come in yet. Thank god I came early, there were a lot of people. No more than about 50, but still a rather large class.

I checked the picture of my schedule to see what the professors name was.

Professor Xavier Nixon.

Right after I'd read it the door to the lecture hall opened and a man in a very nice suit came waltzing in. He was tall and muscular. You could tell he worked out even through the suit. His side profile was stunning. He had dirty blonde hair and a bit of stubble covering the lower half of his face perfectly. "Good afternoon everyone, apologies for my tardiness." He spoke loudly as he entered.

I got a good enough view of him from the side to know he was good looking but when he faced the class my eyes widened slightly. He was beautiful. His eyes were a dark greenish color. They looked murky in this lighting but still pretty. His hair was rather long at the top with a perfectly blended fade.

His eyes scanned the room and I felt like shrinking so he couldn't see me for some reason. But his eyes caught mine and he held eye contact for a minute. His lips parted slightly as he continued to look at me and then he looked away. Well I think he was looking at me, you can never be too sure.

He offered the class a soft smile and adjusted a mic on the vest of his suit. "Welcome to Criminal Behavior. I'm Professor Nixon and you will be gaining a critical understanding of the law, policies, case law, critical thinking, and examination of criminal thought of actions."

Throughout the entire class I couldn't take my eyes off of Professor Nixon. Weirdly enough he and I somehow kept catching each other's gaze. Although I hoped that it wasn't me he was looking at.

"The syllabus quiz is due by next Monday at 11:59pm. Have a good evening, I will see you all on Wednesday."

I sighed as the class came to a close. Some students were already approaching him to talk but as soon as the opportunity presented itself I made my way out the door. Where'd they find a man as handsome as him??
