I stood under the water of the shower head for over ten minutes without moving. I was too sore. My scalp was tender from round three because of the hair pulling, my inner thighs ached because of everything in general, and my core was sore from clenching my ab muscles. The flashbacks were never ending and after all of what we did last night I had a feeling I'd be feeling him for the next week or two.
A soft knock at the door caught my attention. "Come in."
The door opened immediately after I spoke. "I got the things you requested."
"Thank you. Can you leave them on the sink for me?" I asked as I peaked my head out of the shower door. "Of course mi amor. Are you feeling okay? I got some Tylenol too."
"Yeah I'm okay. I'm definitely gonna need that Tylenol when I'm out." I giggled. "I'll leave it and a bottle of water on the nightstand."
I nodded and he left the bathroom. I finished my shower after another ten minutes and stood at the sink to fix my hair. Xavier left and got me some hair products since I didn't have the ones I needed here.
I moisturized my hair and added two other styling products before putting two flat two strands twists in the front and leaving the back out and curly. Minimal tension because of my sore scalp and it still looks cute.
I was dressed almost immediately after that. We're gonna head back home this morning and then meet back up later for the party.
I don't know how I was supposed to act normal around him after what we did last night especially in front of people. I probably would have to avoid any conversations with him directly in front of anyone else.
Once I was ready. I took off the spare sheets we had to put on after we finished last night so everything could be washed. After we finished the laundry we would be heading back.
"Xavier where's the washing machine again?" I asked as I came down the stares. I got no reply but I heard him clearly talking to someone else. I assumed he was on the phone with his mom or something so I decided to keep quiet.
When I got into the living room he turned to me and gestured with his hand to keep quiet. He had her on speaker. "When will you be home?"
"I'll be back home a little later, mom."
"Alright don't over work yourself it's still holiday time. Oh and definitely don't overwork that assistant of yours. You know Ari showed me a picture of her and can I just say that she is absolutely stunning!"
"Ari shouldn't have done that." He replied quickly. I held back the smile threatening to spread onto my face. "Yeah well she and I thought it would be good to have a little fbi search of our own on her so we could learn more about her. From what she tells me and how highly you speak of her she's a sweetheart."
"She is."
"I wonder if she's dating. I've been trying to set your cousin Luis up for months now."
At the sound of that Xavier's expression dropped. "She is seeing someone mother. Anytime you see someone attractive you're trying to hook a family member up with them."
"I know, I know. If she wasn't your employee and maybe about sevens years older I would tell you to go for her. I guess I still have to hold out hopes for you and-"
"Alright mom, that's enough. I have to get back to work I'll text pictures of the book and everything later."
I furrowed my eyebrows at his sudden interruption. She was holding out hope for him and who? I didn't want to ask because I didn't feel like I should. But it was concerning none the less. "Alright have fun at the party tonight. I heard Liliana was going to be there. You two could probably catch up." His mom knows her too?
