"Shit, shit, shit...Shit!" I exclaimed as I stumbled across my room.

I'd stubbed my toe in the process of looking for my earring. I was supposed to be out of the house ten minutes ago. Nothing has been going according to plan all day. I just wanted to get to Xavier on time. We have our first official date planned for tonight and my dumbass is gonna make us late.

He planned for us to go to this museum not too far from campus and then out for dinner. It's a cold Friday and I'm certain it'll probably snow, so I want to dress for that while still looking cute.

I lathered myself in lotion and put on some Miss Dior perfume before pulling out my outfit. A brown fitted top that was slight cropped, deep brown leather pants, a brown leather overcoat, a few small gold necklaces, and brown boots that matched my pants exactly.

For the hair I went for that Bella Hadid middle part sleek ponytail. Once I'd managed to get it to the right height I added some freeze spray and other hair products until it was perfect. I'd saw her wearing it with her ponytails a little curly but like wrapped up. I did my best to attempt a curly slightly messy bun type thing. I put on some mascara, blush, and bronzer to complete the look.

I tripled checked my appearance in the mirror and slowly started to talk myself out of my outfit. Like every other time I started to feel like this outfit just wasn't flattering on me. Would Xavier even like it?

That thought alone made me want to change. I was already running behind though. I really didn't have the time to start over. I tried to give myself a pep talk in the mirror before forcing myself out of the door.

I made it to the office in no time. It had become a designated meet up spot I suppose. It was easily excusable as to why we were both always here together and it isn't close to campus. The chances of anyone from school seeing us here wasn't slim but it wasn't big either.

If anyone did I doubt they'd recognize me as a student so it made it easier to be with him here. When I pulled up he was in his car waiting for me.

"I'm sorry I know I'm a little late. I Stubbed my toe and lost my earring." I explained as I pulled the door to his car open. When I looked over at him he was halfway out his door. "It's fine. I wanted to open it for you." He chuckled.

I waved him off with a smile. "Don't worry. I got it."

He got his door closed and made sure I was ready before he pulled off. "You look beautiful as always." He complimented.

I couldn't help the blush that began to form. I turned my face towards the window so he couldn't see me cheesing. "Thank you. You look good too." I replied.

He let out a soft chuckle and I but my lip to stop myself from smiling so hard.

We made it to the museum in no time. He pulled into the lot and jogged over to my side to open my door. Because I so stupidly wasn't paying attention I had already started opening the door. I quickly let go of it when I saw him coming up beside the door. I offered him a small and embarrassed smile as I stepped out of the car.

I stood by the trunk to wait for him and once he made it to my side we started our walk to the large stone building. I so badly wanted to reach out and hold his hand but for fear of somehow seeing someone from school I decided against it. He seemed to have the same thought because he didn't make any move to touch me.

I'll admit that getting over the whole no contact outside of areas where we had guaranteed privacy was gonna be a bit strange for me. I wouldn't describe myself as a touchy person but I always loved the small touches you experience with someone. Like when your hands brush against each other's. Or being able to sit closely and sit your hand in their lap.

I could deal with avoiding all of those things though. I hope so at least.

He pulled the large door open and allowed me to step in ahead of him. I offered a grateful smile and waited for him to lead us to the lady sitting behind a large desk in the lobby. "Hello, I reserved some time for today with one of the guides. It should be under Nixon." He told the woman. I stood slightly behind him taking in the room around me. My eyes traveled up the large stone pillar all the way to the ceiling where there was a mural painted. It was beautiful. I had to constantly remind myself not the have my mouth hanging open from surprise.

"Alrighty. She's gonna be right over to start your tour. I hope you enjoy, you two can wait right over there if you'd like." The woman smiled.

"Thank you." Xavier replied and turned back to me. I gave the woman a thank you as well and allowed Xavier to guide me with a hand on the small of my back. I almost shivered at the contact.

He stood while I sat on the bench still taking in all of what the lobby had to offer. The lobby itself was a piece of art. "They took pieces from Rome and added it into the building so a lot of the pillars or stained glass is hundreds of years old." Xavier told me.

I looked up at him with slightly wide eyes. "Really?! That's so cool. You know I used to swear i'd be an artist." I laughed.

"You are like a piece of art yourself." He complimented. I looked away from his eyes and bit my lip to stop from smiling so hard. "Thank you."

"Hi are you two the ones for the tour!?" I preppy voice sounded from behind Xavier. He turned and stepped the side so I could see the person as well. Before us stood a 5'2 woman with sandy blonde hair, hazel eyes shielded by thick dark lenses, and a wide smile. "That would be us." Xavier spoke.

"Alrighty, I'm sarah and i'll be showing you two around today. You ready to get started?"

She looked at him and then to me while Xavier did the same. I nodded while I stood. "I'm ready."

"Awesome let's get started."
