So, Stephanie and I went to the movies, we grabbed some dinner at the food court, and we walked around the mall.
We had a great time, she is so sweet. I even had my first kiss that night when we kissed goodnight.
We have been dating for two months now. Maurice doesn't like me having a girlfriend, he says I need to be single.
I really like Stephanie, and she has come to the studio and watched us record a few times. The Halloween dance is Friday, and Stephanie and I are going.
She is going to dress up as a cheerleader, and I am going as a Jock. I can't wait to go to the dance with her. We are going to dance all night.
Friday night:
Jordan's brother Jon is driving them to the dance. Jordan knocks on the door and waits patiently for someone to open the door.
Mr. Moon opens the door, "Good evening, Jordan. Steph is almost ready; come on in." Jordan shakes his hand and steps inside.
"Thank you, sir." He says as he extends his hand to shake.
"So, how is school going, Jordan?"
"Great, yea, um, you know, it's good."
"That's good that school is going well. Has Steph made any friends, how is she doing in school? I know the move here was hard on her, so I worry about her."
"I know she talks to a couple of girls at school, and she seems to be doing good, I mean, she's settling in good. Yea, I think it was rough on her at first, but she seems to be doing better."
"That's great to hear." Just as they heard Stephanie coming downstairs, they both stood up, and Jordan wiped his hands across his pants because his palms were sweaty.
She was wearing a cheerleader outfit with white shoes. She had her hair pulled up and had painted an eagle on her face. Jordan was wearing a letterman jacket with jeans and a shirt that said Eagles with their high school design on it.
"You look good, Stephanie. You look like a cheerleader."
"Thanks, you look nice too, Jordan. You look like a football player." She said shyly as she looked down.
"Alright, Steph, the dance ends at eleven, I want you home by midnight. That will give you time to get something to eat and get home. Be safe, sweetheart and have a nice time. Take care, Jordan."
"Thanks, Dad. We will love you." She kissed his cheek, and they left. Jordan helped her into the backseat, and then he climbed in beside her.
"Hey, Stephanie, great costume. You and J look good together."
"Thanks, Jon, and I think so too." She smiled at Jordan as he wrapped his arm around her.
They arrived at the dance, and they were having fun. They were dancing and laughing. They talked to Steve and Brent for a bit then she talked to Cassie and Brianna. We just danced and had a great night.
Everyone was going to the diner down the street for some burgers after the dance. Jordan had told Jon to pick them up down there fifteen minutes before she had to be home.
Jordan had always made sure she was home before or by curfew. He didn't want her dad to get mad at him.
They went down before the dance ended and got some burgers, fries, and shakes. They enjoyed dinner, and then they were outside around the back, making out until it was time for Jon to arrive.
Jordan leaned in and kissed her a deep passionate kiss. He enjoyed kissing her, but a few times, those kisses had gotten him very worked up. He wanted to be respectful of her because he really liked her. That didn't change the ache he had for wanting her.
Jon arrived and picked them up, they sat in the back holding hands and laughing the entire way to her house. Jordan walked her to her door and kissed her a soft peck.
"Good night, Stephanie."
"Good night, Jordan." He watched her walk into her house, and he walked back to the car. Jon was laughing at him because Jordan looked like he had stars in his eyes.
Weeks turned into months, and before they knew it, their first album was ready to be released. It was a self-titled album, New Kids on The Block.
Their first single released was Be my girl, and it got very little airplay. They released, Stop It, girl next, and it didn't get very much airplay either.
Maurice was getting a little worried. We performed anywhere and everywhere we could. Schools, clubs, and even bars.
Maurice started asking us about writing some of the songs, so Donnie, Danny, and I sat down and started writing some of them. Maurice had written all the songs for the first album.
We spent a lot of time writing these songs and working out the music for them. Thankfully, Donnie, Danny, and I were able to do this together.
Sadly, I was missing a lot of time with Stephanie. I was now a junior and trying to get this album done. It took us a year just to write the songs and put the music to the words.
Stephanie would come over when she could. We both had our licenses, and we had cars. She had made some friends now, so she was going to the mall a lot with them.
She would get upset with me because I was busy with the band. We had been together for over a year now, and we still haven't slept together. It was getting hard to be around her because that was all I could think about.
We are going to prom, and I got Donnie to rent a room for us, let's hope the night is worth the wait.
Prom is two weeks away, and I can't wait to finally lose my virginity, or at least I am hoping we can finally take that step.
On our date last weekend, she was kissing me, and the kiss got very heated really quickly. I had to stop it, and it was almost as if she was giving me permission to go all the way.
I pulled away and apologized to her as I tried to calm myself down. She looked upset, and then the rest of the night, she was distant.
So, I rented a limo and a room for prom night. I hope she knows how much she means to me. I rented a black tuxedo, and I am wearing a red bowtie.
She bought a red dress for prom, she is going to the mall with Cassie and Brianna to get her hair, makeup, and nails done for prom early Saturday morning. She showed me her prom dress, and it is beautiful.
