May 1990:
We return home after a long flight. We just finished our Europe leg of the tour. We will be home for six weeks. Then we are touring from June until the middle of September with only a few days off.
Heck, we just toured for eighteen days and only had four days off. They are all exhausted, and yet Maurice is talking about getting into the studio for a new album.
"No, we are going to spend these next six weeks with our families, and we need rest. We need a break, Maurice. I am going to spend the time off with my fiancee' and my family."
"He's right, Maurice; we need a break, a real break. We need to see our families and our friends." Donnie stated.
"Yea, really. We need time to rest so we can be a hundred percent when we start the next part of the tour."Joey stated.
"Okay, but we have to start rehearsals one week before we kick off the tour, so you all have five weeks to relax, and we have to shoot the music videos for a few songs while we are home. Columbia already scheduled that, so that can't be changed." Maurice stated as he knew the boys were all exhausted.
They all agreed, and they all rested as they made their way home with a few flight changes. They were finally on their last flight, and all Jordan could do was smile. He couldn't wait to see Stephanie, wrap his arms around her, and kiss her. He hadn't seen her in three weeks, and he missed her so much.
He had decided to buy a home so that when he was in town, they could be together. She deserved more than a hotel for their time together, she deserved a home. He was going to ask her to move in with him.
When they arrived in Boston, they were taken home in a limo. I had called Stephanie on our last stop and told her when I would be home. When I stepped out of the gate, there stood my girl waiting for me.
Thankfully it was early in the morning, and fans weren't swarming the airport for a glimpse of us. She ran into my arms, and I picked her up as I swung her around.
"Hey, Jon, let Mom know I won't be home tonight. I need to spend some time with my girl." Jon smiled and walked toward the limo with the other guys.
He kissed her a deep passionate kiss that told her how much he had missed her. They walked to her car, and he climbed into the passenger seat.
"I am all yours."
She smiled, "And I am all yours, Jordan. I missed you so much. I rented us a hotel room so we could be alone."
"That sounds great, baby; I missed you too. Um, I wanted to talk to you about something serious. I know it's so hard with me still living with my parents and you staying in a dorm room. So, I am going to buy us a house, and I want you to move in with me. We can live there for a while and buy a bigger one after this tour ends. So, what do you think?"
"Really? You want me to move in with you? That's a huge step, Jordan. Are you sure?"
"Yes, really and of course, I want you to move in with me. No, asking you to marry me was a big step; asking you to move in is just the next step, and marrying you will be the best step." She smiled at him.
"I would love nothing more; okay, let's do it. Let's buy a house and move in together." He brought her hand to his lips and kissed it.
"I love you, Stephanie, with all my heart."
"I love you, Jordan, with all my heart. It has always been you." They drove to the hotel, and she parked the car.
He carried his duffel bag into the room as he tried to hide his face. They went to their room, and Stephanie opened the door. As soon as Jordan stepped in, he threw his bag down and kissed her.
