She had her hand laid on his chest, it felt good to be held again. It had been so long since she had been held. They slept for a few more hours, and Joe slowly opened his eyes, realizing what had happened.
He was thinking maybe it was just a dream, maybe none of what he thought happened, until he looked over and saw her beautiful red hair lying on his chest. He then realized that everything he thought happened did actually happen.
Jordan was going to kill him; he had married and slept with his ex-wife. The band was going to break up before they even got started.
Joey didn't want to move because she was sleeping so well, so he lay there and thought about all the ways this was bad and then even a few this was good.
The ways this could go bad was Jordan was going to be irate, he would probably kick his ass, he would never accept that neither of them even remember, and he wasn't sure how the other guys would take it. She has her kids, and Jordan's family would never forgive him or her for this.
The ways this could go good, he had crushed on her since the first time he met her, he really did like her, maybe he even loved her, he might be the one that can make her happy, her kids, and she will always come first in my eyes.
He wanted to make love to her, really make love to her when they weren't drugged to where they would both remember. He wanted to talk to her since they were both rested and slept off whatever they were given.
He needed to figure out how they got here, there is no way they drove, and he wanted to see how she would feel about trying it out. Seeing how they get along, seeing how they feel. He had already married her now he wanted to date her.
He was so confused about how they got to Niagra Falls from New York City. He needed to figure out how or where they bought their wedding bands, and he needed to figure out what he was drugged with.
When she woke up, they could shower and then find some answers. They could go to the wedding chapel where they got married and ask if they were alone and what condition they were in when they arrived.
Oh goodness, what if the people that drugged us flew up here with us, what if they robbed us, what if they were the ones we slept with last night? So, many what ifs, I need answers.
He was about to have a panic attack thinking of all the bad things that might have happened to them, and he felt her move a little. He immediately calmed down and slowly rubbed his fingers across her arm.
She slowly opened her eyes and looked up and saw Joe; she smiled. He smiled back at her as he kissed the top of her head. He could actually be happy waking up with her in his arms every morning.
"Hey, Joe, so I guess it really did happen, and I wasn't dreaming?"
"Yes, it did happen, and no, you weren't dreaming. I thought the same thing until I woke up and saw your beautiful hair spread across my chest. Did you sleep well? Do you feel better?"
"Yes, I slept better than I have in a long time, and I feel more like me other than a horrible headache. I am starving tho. Joe, we need to figure out what we are going to do, I'm sure you don't want to stay married to me."
"Good, I'm glad you slept well, Yea, me too. Yes, we do; we have a lot of things to figure out. I might."
"You might? What, you mean you might want to stay married to me?" She asked as she looked shocked but also a little happy.
"Stephanie, you have always known I had a crush on you. Do you know how many times Jordan would tell me to quit staring and fantasizing about his girl? The way I look at this situation we have found ourselves in is we have two choices. One, we get an annulment or two, we try it and see maybe you were never happy with Jordan because he wasn't the person you were supposed to be with, maybe it was me."
