In March of 2020, there was a virus called Corona, and the entire world stopped. Restaurants closed, malls closed, department stores closed, and everything shut down.

The streets of Las Vegas, New York City, Los Angeles and  Nashville were completely empty. No one even knew what was happening.

We were required to wear face masks and gloves just to shop for groceries. We weren't allowed to see our family or anyone when it happened.

Stefan was at our house, thankfully, but Jordan wasn't allowed to come over. The kids were out of school and started virtual learning. Joey decided that we were going to go to our house in Los Angeles since the kids couldn't attend school.

When we had to go out, we stripped our clothes off in the garage and sanitized everything before we went into the house. We were very careful hospitals were closed except for patients; no visitors were allowed.

We had time with our kids and us. So, we went to LA in our motorhome and stayed in our house. Michelle drove home when school shut down, they weren't even sure if Lukas would be able to play football. So, they joined us in Los Angeles we had our entire family.

We drove to LA and just enjoyed being together. Joe and I switched to let the other sleep, and we made it two days of straight driving. We bought sandwich meats and bread, that's what we ate for the trip.

Joe had our maid that cleaned our house every month to shop and get groceries. So, when we arrived, we parked and went in. Joe Lysoled everything before we entered the house.

"Hey, Mom, where is Lukas going to sleep?"

"In your room, sweetheart. I know you are an adult, so just be respectful and make sure your dad and I don't hear anything. As well as your brothers and sister, keep the door locked so they don't run in."

"Really? Thanks, Mom. I promise no one will hear anything." She ran over and hugged her mother.

"Baby girl, you are grown, and I remember when it was me and your dad. Your dad and I are going to go to bed, so can you keep an eye on the kids?"

"Of course, Mom. You and Dad drove us here. Go rest. I will fix them dinner and let them get baths. Good night, Mom; I love you. Good night, Dad; I love you, too." The kids all went to their rooms, and we went to ours.

Joe and I went to our room, showered, and lay down. We both drifted off to sleep pretty quickly. We had to sleep lightly on the trip, just enough to help us when we had to drive.

For the next few weeks, we just relaxed at the house. We ordered our food to be delivered. We wiped everything down. Thankfully the toilet paper shortage didn't affect us because we had a supply and we didn't visit very often.

The kids lounged around the pool and swam after they did their schoolwork. Joey worked on some new music; he and the band had been keeping an eye on the news. They had a show scheduled in September with Bel Biv DeVoe in September at Fenway Park, they had to cancel that. They started to do lives for the fans, and since no one could do anything else, they did them every week.

The cruise was the next thing canceled since cruises and travel wasn't allowed. We are already three weeks into the Corona Virus, and it sucks.

Movie Theatres are closed, travel out of the states is canceled, no cruises, no concerts, no shows, and no one is working. This wasn't just in the united states. The entire world is shut down. You have to wear a mask to go into a store or a gas station.

Most jobs are even closed, and people are working from home. Restaurants have started doing delivery services.

So, Joe and I and the kids are just spending time together. Jordan, Dante, and Eric are driving down next week. They are getting a motel room and getting tested before they can come to the house.
