March 23, 2007:

Stephanie and Joey packed up what they would need for the next eight days. Jordan was on his way to pick up Stefan and Michelle.

Stephanie was holding both of the kids in her lap, and Stefan wiggled down and ran into Joey's arms.

"Joey, Joey, fly me around. That's so fun, please, Joey."

"Sure, buddy." He picked him up and lifted him in the air, "ready for takeoff, three, two, one, liftoff." He started flying him across the living room; his arms were under his stomach he was going up and down and sideways. Stefan was giggling so hard, and so were Stephanie and Michelle.

Jordan knocked and opened the door as he saw them all laughing, Joey was playing with his son, and they were having fun. This image broke his heart, this was his family, and that should be him instead of Joey.

Stephanie spotted Jordan watching Joey and Stefan; she smiled at Jordan and waved him in. "Michelle, Stefan, your daddy's here." Michelle jumped up and ran into Jordan's arms.

"Daddy, watch what Joey does. It's so fun, Dad."

"I bet it is, buddy, are you ready to go?"

"Yea," Joey held him up and wrapped his arms around Joey's neck, "Bye, Joey. You will be back in eight days, right?"

"Yes, bud, we will be back on March 31st. Have fun with, daddy buddy, your mom, and I will see you next week."

"Okay, Joey. I love you."

Everyone stopped, and Joey had a really emotional look on his face, "I love you, too, little man, very much." Joey knelt down and hugged him. Stefan ran over and hugged his mom as Michelle hugged her Mom, and Michelle then took her daddy's hand as they left.

Joey smiled, "I really do love your kids, Steph, our kids."

"I know you do, babe, and I know Stefan made your day by saying that. He said it on his own, thank you so much for loving my kids as you do."

He had his arm wrapped around her shoulder, and he kissed the top of her head, "No, thanks needed, love, they are very important to me." He looked at his watch, "Alright, baby, time to hit the road. We have an entire day to do whatever you want on the bus."

"Whatever I want, hmm. I think I have something in mind."

"You do, huh?" She bit her bottom lip as she looked at him.

"Yep, I sure do."

"What might that be, my dear."

"You."

"Me?"

"Yep, you all day and all night. We have snacks and drinks; we do not need to be disturbed until we arrive in Virginia."

"Yes, we do, and that sounds like a great plan to me. Let's hit the road, my beautiful wife." They locked the house up and left. They arrived at the studio, and he unloaded their bags; Stephanie climbed onto the bus while Joey talked to the driver.

The security detail loaded the bags onto the bus and sat them in the bedroom, and then departed the bus. They would be driving behind them in the Escalade. Stephanie had unpacked their bags and hung up their clothes.

She placed their shower supplies in the bathroom and put their pajamas and undergarments in the drawers. She was brushing her hair when Joey came into the room.

He smiled at her as he locked the door, kicked his shoes off, and placed his socks inside of his shoes. He unbuttoned his jeans and threw them on the dresser, and he slid his shirt over his head and laid it on top of his jeans.
