Chapter 65: Holiday time again

Well, it is Christmas time already; this year is flying by. Joey's birthday is next week, and we have to go to New York for their New Year's Eve performance in Times Square.

The kids have already been in school for over four months. Jordan just found out that Evie is pregnant again. He came over, flipping out that she was pregnant again. 

"How in the hell does this keep happening?"

"Well, um, Jordan, I know you know the answer to that. You have three kids and now soon to be four," Joey stated politely.

"No, Joey, yes, we have slept together. Heck, I was surprised when she made the first move. I used protection, and she is supposed to be on birth control."

"Hold on, Evie got pregnant on birth control and with you using a condom?"

"Yep, I asked her if she had missed any pills, and she said no. I even looked at her birth control container, and they are on track."

"Well, Jordan, you and I used protection all those years we were together from when we lost our virginity, and I was on birth control. The only time I messed up was when I took the non-active pills, and we weren't using protection. I told you about the mixup. I just didn't say anything other than that until we found out we were pregnant with Michelle."

"I know, and there were even times we didn't use protection, and I just pulled out. You didn't end up pregnant when you did; we were happy because we were already planning on starting our family. I took responsibility when we got pregnant with Dante, but I have made damn sure that didn't happen again."

"I know, um, did you notice anything unusual about the condom when you removed it?"

"Not really, but I wasn't thinking just threw it away and jumped in the shower. We have slept together twice since the tour ended, twice, and now she's pregnant."

"Well, you may want to check your condoms and see if they were tampered with, and also, you might want to get a DNA test; you can do that without her even knowing. Just have the results mailed to Marlene's."

Joey and I were lying up on the couch when he came over, I felt bad for him, but I didn't know what to do. I already felt bad enough about our threesomes without Evie knowing.  Jordan hugged us and kissed me on the cheek then he left.

Joey sat back down, and I lay down with my head in his lap. He rubbed his fingers through my hair which made me relax. 

Joey sat there looking down as he rubbed his hands through her hair. He saw her as she relaxed and was smiling. She loved when I rubbed my fingers through her hair. 

My wife is so beautiful, and I am so in love with her. Griff and Kira came running into the living room; Mama, Daddy, whatcha doing to mommy, daddy?"

"I am relaxing your mother, son. Have you two been good?"

"Yes, we were playing with our toys in the playroom," Kira said as she smiled Joey's smile at him. 

"Okay, it's almost bath time, then story time, then time to go night night."

"Okay, Daddy, how much longer do we have?" Griff asked.  

"About fifteen minutes. We have to go to Nan's and Pop's tomorrow for our Christmas celebration. Then we will go to Nana's and pop-pop Knights the next day, then Santa will come to bring you toys if you were a good little girl and a good little boy this year. So, the next few days are going to be really busy."

"Is Nana and Papaw flying in?" Kira and Griff asked excitedly. 

"Yes, they will be here tomorrow. Okay, just let us know when it's bathtime. We love you, Mommy and Daddy." then they kissed them and ran off down the hall.
