Two months later October 2022:

We moved to Los Angeles last week officially. Once Michelle and Lukas returned from their honeymoon. They started their new jobs and are doing really well. Michelle has that newlywed glow, and she looks so happy.

We talked with all four of the kids before we made the final decision to move. We also talked to both of our families and Jordan. They all understood this was something good for us since Steph had stayed in Boston for Jordan, and then when they separated, she had stayed there because of the kids.

Now they are both grown; one is married, and one is at college and getting pretty serious with his girlfriend. We may have another wedding soon.

On our first night here, Steph was smiling as she listened to the waves from the balcony of our room. "Joe, this is perfect, and this is our life. We don't have to return to Boston. This is our home now. I love it. I really love it."

"Yes, baby, this is our home; this is our life. I have scheduled a few solo shows right here in town at the Bourbon Room."

"Really? When?"

"December 11th and 18th. I am really hoping I can get the fifty shows for my fiftieth birthday."

"I hope so too, darling. I am excited for you. Do these first two shows count?"

"Yes, of course, they are going to count; sure, they are before my birthday, but I have a few events with New Kids. Are you excited about Blockcon in May? You better be ready for a huge celebration on your birthday."

"I am excited about the Houston rodeo and the Bahamas trip. I kind of like this just a few shows. Have you gotten confirmation on the Mohegan sun yet?"

"Not yet, and Donnie has a few other shows lined up. One in Oklahoma, Iowa, and I think one in Cali."

"This will be good, but are you still going to be able to travel like you want to do on your solo tour with all the New Kids stuff?"

"Yes, and remember, we are going out of the country. Me, you, and the kids, I can't wait to do this with my family by my side."

"Me either, babe. I will always be by your side. Do you need any help getting these shows arranged?"

"Maybe, yes, I could really use your help to get them scheduled and the venues booked. You and I will start working on that once we get settled in. Right now, I just want to spend some time with my beautiful wife in our home. Making passionate love to the sound of those waves all night."

He walked over and wrapped his arms around her waist as they swayed to the sound of the waves. He led her into their room and laid her down. He stood there just looking at her and thinking how beautiful she was.

Within the next few weeks, they had gotten all the shows arranged, but he couldn't announce them until he received the contracts and signed them. Our attorney would come in to verify everything was good and then witness his signature.

We scheduled a few shows early in the year. We have a show scheduled for January 11th at Mohegan Sun in the Cabaret Theatre. We have a huge show scheduled for January 14th at Carnegie Hall that was such an amazing opportunity for Joe; he literally cried his eyes out and held me so tight. We have planned some special guests for that show.

We have 2 London shows, a Germany show, and an Ireland show scheduled. He is going to play at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. Plus, we are working really hard for a summer tour.

He has the Houston Rodeo on March 7th with the New Kids and a private event in the Bahamas. We set two dates in early May for Canada and Seattle two days apart. On this tour, the kids and I will join him. I love the fact he always asks me to join him.
