Chapter 70: This part is never easy

Joe and the band are leaving out tomorrow for their tour. We will be apart for over six weeks, and this is always the hardest part.

I cooked dinner and cleaned up the kitchen so he could spend time with the kids. Jordan dropped Michelle and Stefan off a little earlier. He has kept them for the last two weeks. Joe and I have gone over to visit, but they are Jordan's, and he wanted to spend as much time as he could with them. 

Joe has become so attached to me, and I know it's because he's leaving. I don't mind at all. Tonight, he was right with me in the kitchen, kissing my cheek and neck. Same while I was doing dishes, except he was pressed against me. 

Tonight is our last night together. So, as a family, we are going to crowd around the couch and watch a movie with the kids then he and I are going to our room to spend the rest of our last night together making love. 

All the kids sat down and watched Rio. The kid's loved it; Jordan promised Stefan and Michelle he would stop by and have breakfast with them before he left. 

The kids were laughing at the movie and having a great time. Joe took them up to bathe them and do clean checks while I cleaned up downstairs. 

Stefan and Michelle went to their rooms to shower, and Joe had finished the twin's bath. He finished with Griff and Kira, then went to Stefan's room. He checked him and said oh, stinky Stefan laughed and told him he was silly. He kissed him on the cheek good night and then checked on Michelle. 

We stopped checking on her since she is maturing, and she is always clean. He walked in and brushed her hair; it was getting so long. He kissed her on the cheek and told her good night. 

He went to Kira's room and tucked her in; he kissed her and then went to Griff's room; he tucked him in, kissed him, then left. 

Steph was just coming upstairs as he shut Griff's door. He smiled a half-hearted smile as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and they went to their room. 

"Help me forget this pain of leaving my family." He leaned down and kissed her. She removed his shirt and hers. She unfastened his jeans and hers. They both removed their remaining clothes and lay down on the bed. 

He kissed her so passionately that she forgot he was leaving. He sucked on her neck and her breasts. He was savoring every bit of this to play in his mind for the next six weeks. 

He slid his fingers into her folds as she moaned into his mouth. He wanted to make sure she was pleased tonight. She rubbed his erection as he moaned into her mouth. The bad thing about them is they were never fully pleased; they always wanted more.

They spent the rest of the night making slow, passionate love to each other until the alarm went off, which meant time to get ready to get the kids up for school. 

They lay in each other's arms, breathlessly panting as Joey rubbed his fingers across her entire body. He kissed her a soft, gentle kiss.

Steph loved her husband, and tonight was one for the books. It was a night of purely enjoying each other. Luckily, the attorneys had gotten everything in order, and they had won all the lawsuits.

The pictures had been removed from the internet, and they had won 6.8 Million dollars from the suits that were filed. The reporter lost his job, he had to stay five hundred feet from Joey and Steph; the news site was closed down after they filed bankruptcy for the suit, still owing them money.

Five owners from other sites were arrested and charged for not removing the photos, they got thirty days in jail and a fine to pay. 

Steph and Joe jumped in the shower. Steph had just gotten out when she heard the doorbell. Crap, he was early; she hadn't even started breakfast or woke the kid's up. She ran downstairs to open the door.
