May 2021:
The world is opening back up some, people are going back out, concerts are starting back up, malls are opened, restaurants are open for dine-in, and life goes on.
So, many people have died from this virus, and we are just now getting back to normal after over a year of being shut down. So, many issues after the world was shut down.
Stephanie and I are still doing great the time together only brought us closer together. Several people ended up divorced and having issues but not us.
Jordan and Evie separated six months ago. He came to Los Angeles to be with us and his kids, and when he returned, they separated.
He seems to be having some issues since they separated, but I think it's more the anxiety of being alone for so long to now having to deal with the world and people.
I just hope he won't try to get between Steph and me; we are still doing great. I hate that Jordan's marriage is having problems, but mine is great.
Steph and I really enjoyed the time together with all of our kids. Even Michelle was a little upset when Jordan came to LA for a visit and stayed for almost six months.
Lukas spoke to both Jordan and me about proposing to Michelle. Jordan wasn't happy about it, but I told him he had my permission because he treats my baby girl like a princess, and that's the way he should always treat her.
Jordan told him that he didn't think he should ask her right now; they were in college. Jordan finally looked at him and said, "I can see that you love my daughter. If you ask her to marry you, then you better make sure it works. She is my only daughter, and I only want the best for her. She is my absolute pride and joy, and if you ever hurt her or leave her, I will hunt you down and make you pay."
"Sir, I can promise you that Michelle is the love of my life, and I would never hurt her or leave her. She has made me so happy, and I love her more than life itself. I knew I loved her the first moment I saw her in the hallways at school. It took me several months to get the nerve to talk to her, but she is the only woman for me."
"I said the same thing about her mother. It didn't stop me from breaking her heart and ruining our marriage. Words are just that, words. Actions speak louder than words, so show me you mean what you say and make sure she knows she is loved. Stephanie has never doubted my love for her, but my actions didn't show love, and because of that, I lost her. Now Joe showed her love, and he showed her actions by treating her the way she should be treated. They have been married now for over fourteen years."
"I promise you both that I will show her how much she means to me every day for the rest of our life. I have been wanting to propose since we graduated, but I knew neither of you would give me permission then. This is our last year of school, and I would like to propose and get married after we graduate. That will give us a year to plan our wedding." He shook our hands and walked away.
A week later, he took Michelle out to dinner on the beach and proposed. Michelle said it was so romantic. He ordered dinner and then drove them to the beach. He had a blanket and candles. They ate dinner, and then he proposed.
So, as of now, we have a wedding coming up sometime next year after they graduate. They returned to classes last month. Michelle has been busy planning the wedding with Steph over the phone. Michelle set the wedding date for August 20, 2022.
Donnie is currently working to get the Fenway concert rescheduled and possibly adding one other date; he's looking at Merriweather Post Pavillion in August. Once he gets it confirmed, then we will travel there for the day and then back to Boston for the Fenway show. If it works out, they will only be two days apart.
