Seven weeks later:
This is the kid's last official week of school. Our flight is eight days away, and I can't wait to see my husband.
Jordan and Evie have been trying to work on their relationship. I send Joey pictures of my little baby bump.
He sends me pictures of him out walking around. My hormones are raging, so needless to say, Jordan has agreed to keep the kids for the first week on his bus. So, my man and I can make up for lost time.
Evie flew out two weeks ago to be with Jordan; he actually stepped up and ask her to come to be with him so they could work on their relationship. She was so happy when she came over and told Steph he had booked her a flight to meet him on the tour and to pack enough clothes to remain on tour with him.
Joey and I just can't wait to be together; I lay in bed sometimes and just rub my belly, knowing Joey is always with me.
We have had a few wild nights of phone sex, which just makes me want him more. Joey is a perfect lover in bed; he always makes sure to fulfill my every desire.
He has a list of everything I have mentioned I want him to do to me. The only thing that sucks is he won't be able to pick us up from the airport because of safety concerns. Jared is picking us up and taking us to the arena.
The kids are so excited to see their dad and Joey. Evie had come over every week for dinner with the kids and me. Dave has been by every week; he is sad that we are leaving next week. We have a cookout with the Knight's before we leave so they can spend some time with Michelle and Stefan.
They are growing up so fast, I am really excited about our babies being here so I have someone who needs me again.
The cookout was this weekend; the kids had to go to school Friday for their report cards, and the cookout was Sunday because, on Monday, they were leaving. Dave had offered to drive them to the airport.
So far, all of my doctor's appointments had been really good. I am now almost six months, and Joey about passed out when the doctor told us I was pregnant with twins. So, Joey does get two children, just two at once. We are having a boy and a girl. He cried when he first saw them on the monitor.
The days passed by slowly; eight days felt like a month, but now it is time. We had the cookout at Marlene's yesterday, and everyone was so happy for me. They had already spoken to Kathy, so the Knights and the McIntyres were throwing our baby shower.
While he was on the road, I went over every week and ate dinner with Kathy and Tom. They enjoyed spending time with the kids, and it's nice for the kids because now they have two sets of grandparents that live close since my parents are in Tennessee.
They are driving to Memphis to see the show and the kids in July. My Mom and Dad really like Joey; my Dad calls Joey several times a week.
I was pacing the floor, waiting on Dave to arrive, and I hear his truck pull up. I run to the door as he walks onto the porch. I throw my arms around him, "finally, I think we are going to need new carpet because I walked it off."
He laughed, "Steph, I'm earlier than planned. I figured we could grab some food since I know the airport will be hectic, and I want to ensure you eat. Where're my munchkins?"
"In the playroom, ooh, munchkins sound really good."
"Alright, well, Dunkin Doughnuts it is then."
"Show me where you have the bags, and remember, I do not want you to load them. I will do that when I drop you off, and when you arrive, Jared can unload them for you."
