Joey is stressed; he has been gone for two weeks, and there is only one more week left, and he will be back home with his wife.
His mom, Judy, Alice, and Jean, have been taking turns staying with Stephanie from his family, as well as Dave, Sharon, Allison, and Marlene from Jordan's family.
They have all been really good, checking on her and the kids cooking, cleaning, and just being there for her, so she's not alone. Dave drives them to school every day.
Everyone has really rallied around her to make sure she is okay. The guys are trying to keep Joe busy so he's not worrying so much about her.
They have even discussed canceling the last two shows just so he can get back home. We have our show in Sydney tonight, and then five days, we have our last show in New South Wales.
She is going to the doctor every week now, and so far no signs that labor is any time soon. So, that's a good thing; maybe the babies know to wait for their Dad.
Jordan has gotten closer to Evie. I think the further along she progresses, he is falling in love with her. They have been discussing wedding plans, and he is always smiling.
It's time to call my baby girl and see how she is doing, "hey, babe."
"Hey, my beautiful baby girl, how are you feeling?"
"I'm okay; the guys got everything put together, and I haven't changed it around, so that's a good thing all their clothes are put up and our bags are packed. Doc said everything is still fine. Still have my mucus plug and not dilated, so we are still good. Five more days, and you will be on a plane coming home."
"Yea, I have really been regretting saying yes to this tour. I should have been home with you. I am so thankful for my family and Jordan's; they have really stepped up. I am glad you have so many people that love you, Steph."
"Yea, but they are doing this for you as well. Joe, nobody blames you because we fell in love. I didn't cheat on Jordan with you, you didn't break up our marriage. We had already been divorced a year, so none of his family blames you."
"I know that, Steph and I'm glad they didn't hold the divorce against you; they still say you are family."
"I know, and I absolutely love Jordan's family. They have always been good to me, and they have always treated me like family. I just love them all so much."
Jordan walked into the room and heard what Steph had said, "Steph, you are family, and they all love you too. Sorry didn't mean to intrude, but she has always been and will always be a part of the Knight family. They told me it was my fault you kicked me out, and I deserved it because I should have chosen you."
"I know; Sharon told me she jumped your ass. She said I don't care what goes on with you two, but you will always remain in our family divorce doesn't change a damn thing. Evie came by earlier and was telling me how much you guys are getting planned on the wedding spring of next year. That's really great, Jordan. I am so happy for you and Evie."
"Guess who else came by yesterday?"
"Who," Joey asked.
"Mark, he flew in, and he and Alma came over to see how I was doing."
"I'm sure he did. Did he try to get you to run off to Beverly Hills with him again?"
"Of course he did. Alma smacked him on the arm and told him to stop flirting with me. He just laughed. You know how silly Mark is."
"The thing is, babe, he's not joking. He had a major crush on you when we all were young. He and I used to talk about our crush on you. He used to say one day, she is going to be mine; I am going to marry her and have tons of babies with her."
