They had been married for six months now, and Joey was really in love with Stephanie; he wanted to do this right this time. So, tonight he was going to propose and give her an engagement ring.

I have already spoken to Jordan about watching the kids. It has been two months since we met Evelyn, and Jordan still hadn't introduced her to the kids.

She and Steph have met up for lunch several times, like four or five times; they seem to be getting along great.

Jordan asked me why I needed to propose and do another wedding. We were already married. What was the big deal?

I told him about the first wedding, we were so out of it we don't even remember it happening, so this time we have been married was to get to know each other. Now, we are in our right minds, not under the influence of anything but each other.

This wedding is us really uniting our lives together as one. So, our friends and family can help us and witness us profess our love to each other. She is important to me, Jordan. I am hers completely and totally hers until the day I die.

He just looked at me and walked away. So, tonight I am taking her to dinner on a carriage ride, and I am going to get down on one knee and ask her to marry me.

I am so nervous, I don't even know why. I mean, we are already married, but I guess this is normal. I plan on after I propose coming home and making soft, sweet, sensual love to her all damn night long.

She can turn me on with just a smile, and most days, she does. I have to try and control him when it's too early for that.

We are doing great, we get along, we laugh and cry we pretty much do everything together. Stefan has gotten really close to me, and he is the sweetest, and Michelle is finally coming around. The other night she climbed into my lap and laid her head on my shoulder.

She looked up at me, "Joey, I'm really glad my Mom married you. You make her happy, you play with us, and you love all of us."

"I'm really glad she married me too, Michelle, and I promise you this I always will. You three are the most important people in my life."

Stephanie stood in the kitchen listening to our conversation with tears in her eyes. She told me that was the sweetest exchange she has ever witnessed. She thanked me for loving her and her kids. I then told her thanks were not needed, just their love, and I would be a happy man.

So, I have showered and dressed in a nice blue suit, I am working on my tie when she steps out of the dressing room; she is so beautiful.

I forgot how to speak for a minute; she has this dark blue and silver dress on that has fringe down the thigh, it has a slit up the one leg that is very short, and her boobs are very perky as they peek out, and she has high heels on which make her legs look so sexy.

She walks over to me, and I stand there looking starstruck. She fixes my tie, and she smells so heavenly. She caresses my cheek as she kisses me.

I wrap my arm around her and pull her close. I want her right here and right now, but we both are dressed, and we have dinner reservations.

"We will finish this after our date tonight. God, Steph, you are so beautiful. How did I ever get this lucky? I swear god had to have made that night happen because he blessed us with so much love and an attraction to each other neither of us can fight."

"Promise? I want that same look in your eye right now when we resume this tonight. We both got very lucky, Joe. I would have to agree most times, this stuff happens they don't even like each other. I fell in love with you before we returned from that two-day adventure. Every day my love for you grows. I am the lucky one, Joe. You married into an already-made family, and you have been the perfect match to complete our family."

"I am glad you allowed me into your family, I love you so much, Stephanie Michelle McIntyre."

"I love you more, Joseph Mulrey McIntyre."

"Never," as he kissed me again and tickled me. "Okay, let's go to dinner, so I can get you back here and do wild things to your body tonight."

"Okay, you love me more, stop tickling me," she stopped and got serious, "my body is yours all night long, babe." He growled as he released her, she grabbed her purse, and they headed out the door.

He drove to the restaurant, pulled into the valet, and they went inside and were seated. They ordered their dinner and continued flirting with each other during dinner. When they finished dinner, he walked outside to a horse-drawn carriage.

"Shall we, my love?" he took her hand and helped her into the carriage. He climbed up and sat beside her; he wrapped his arms around her and held her.

"This is so perfect, Joey. A perfect night. Thank you for loving me so much."

"I'm glad you are enjoying it, babe. I hope it just keeps getting better, we have a stop to make." He said as the carriage started slowing down and stopped.

Joey stepped down and helped her down. There was a bucket with champagne sitting on a table. He walked her over as he talked.

"So, baby, the last time this happened, we didn't have a choice, but I am glad that it happened. So, we have been together for six months, six amazing months. Stephanie, I am completely and totally yours have been since the first time I laid eyes on you when I was thirteen years old. I promise to love you every day for the rest of my life here on earth, I promise to discuss every schedule, and what you say goes, period, I swear to protect you and our kids with my life, and I promise never to make you cry. So, Stephanie, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me again?"

Stephanie stood there as she looked at Joey, knelt down in front of her, holding a ring box. He looked up at her with those baby blues she gets lost in. The words he spoke to her spoke so deep in her heart. That was all she ever wanted was someone to care enough to say she was the first choice. She smiled at him as tears streamed down her face.

"Yes, Joey, yes, a thousand times yes. I love you so much more than I ever thought I could love another person, other than my kids, I love you even more than I ever did, Jordan."

Joey jumped up, placed the ring on her finger, and picked her up and swung her around. He kissed her a deep passionate kiss.

"Let's go home, baby, so that I can fulfill my promise to you. He poured them each a glass of champagne as they toasted and drank on the way back to the restaurant.

They got off the carriage, and Joey tipped the driver; we walked over and retrieved our keys to the car, and he tipped the valet. We drove home, unable to keep our hands and eyes off each other. Joey kept glancing over as we drove.

We spent the rest of the night getting lost in each other. It was a perfect night, and Joey made it very special. Stephanie felt like she was on top of the world in this life with Joey.
