Chapter 46: Family time

A few weeks later: 

They were enjoying the tour. Steph had pretty much become friends with everyone, and she and Jesse hung out most nights when she wasn't feeling well. 

She said he was really nice, he enjoyed playing with the kids to keep them occupied, his girlfriend came to a few shows, and she and Steph got along really well. The crush Steph had on Jesse wasn't even there anymore.

She never called me Jesse while we were making love; that kinda pissed Jordan off. He was being very standoffish with Steph and Evie. 

Most evenings, Evie would join them when they hung out with Jesse; he was working on some new music, and he would play it for her and listen to her thoughts.

One night, they went to the concert once again front row because the kids have been begging to go back out, and this time, Jesse joined them, which really got them nasty stares from the fans. They were so jealous of her. 

She was married to Jordan, now she's married to Joey, and now she is hanging out with Jesse McCartney. Evie didn't come out; she stayed on the bus. So, Jesse sat on one end, her on the other, with the kids between them.

It was cute Michelle was crushing badly on Jesse, and he knew it and would flirt with her, which sometimes would make her smile; other times, she would turn blood red and take off to hide. So, Michelle sat beside Jesse. 

When the show started, they were all dancing. Jesse was dancing with Michelle. Joey and Jordan walked to the end of the stage. 

"Our little man has been begging us to bring him up here to let him sing with us. Stefan, come up here, son, over this way." Jordan said as the security guard walked him over. 

Stefan gave them all high fives when he climbed up on stage, he was so excited. He ran into Joey's arms as Joey lifted him up.

"This is our little man, Stefan, Stefan, tell everyone hi, bud," Joey said as he held him.

"Hey, everyone." He was smiling so huge. 

Jordan took him and stood him on the piano that had been brought out. "We are going to add a song to tonight's setlist. Stefan's favorite song is this one's for the children. Stefan, you gonna help us sing it?"

"Yes, Daddy and Daddy Joey. I'm ready; let's do it." He was so excited, and the guys smiled at him as the crowd awwed, watching him with both of his dads.

They handed him his own microphone and Joey and Jordan stood on each side of him. They sang the song, and he thought it was the greatest thing ever. 

When the song ended, all the guys hugged him, and Jordan sat him back down; he hugged Joey and then hugged Jordan. He walked back down to his Mom, and she picked him up. He gave Jesse a high five on his way to his Mom.

Donnie had taken Michelle on stage the first night when they did Covergirl, and she clung to his leg; she was so embarrassed, and he felt so bad after the show. 

The concert was great they were having a blast with everyone. Steph would talk to the road crew during soundcheck and Jesse during the show when she didn't come out for the concert. She was getting pretty big, we had scheduled a few doctor's appointments while we were in certain towns.

Everything was going great; the babies were growing perfectly, Stephanie was doing good, and our babies were due around September 10th. 

Joey and Jordan's family were getting ready for the baby shower when they returned. Life was perfect, Joey was happy, Stephanie was happy, both kids were happy, and even Jordan was happy being able to spend this time with his children.
