Emma

"Wha....What are you doing in my bed?!" I demmanded an answer out of Keirren who starred at me like an innocent kitten.

"My room is lonely and bare." She pouted. "I thought Academies dorms had a roommate system when I came here."

I quickly retracted out of my bed as she spoke, standing up on the cool wooden floor. I was about to drop the subject all together and order her to leave my room when I remembered what she was wearing.

"And what are you doing in my blue night gown dress?" I stared at her as she climbed out from underneath my bed's covers and sat on top.

Her eyes suddenly teared up and her lip trembled. I moved back even farther, afraid that she was going to explode.

"My luggage got lost at the airport." She sniffled. "I thought you wouldn't mind if I borrowed some of it, but I suppose I guessed wrong. You probably hate me now, don't you?"

Her tearfilled eyes, the pouting lip, and the sheer look of hopelessness overwelmed me. I couldn't turn Keirrin down. She could shatter into a thousand pieces if I did.

"Hey now, I didn't say I hated you...." I mumbled. The words weren't completely true. She annoyned me enough that I was beginning to dislike her the more she was around.

Keirrin's sad expression suddenly popped like a bubble and she was immediately happy and carefree again. "Emma!" She shouted joyfully and lunged off the bed.

I only got the chance to cry "Wait!" before she landed on top of me, forcing me to the floor. In human standards, that would have hurt a lot. Since I was a vampire, it was like a poke in the shoulder.

"Keirrin, get off of me." I ordered, trying to sit up and push her off myself. Her arms were locked around my waist, hugging me to death. "I mean it." I reinforced my words. I tried shoving her head off my chest, but she snapped back like a rubber band once I gave up.

"Uh....Emmalene?" A male voice asked. Arashi's.

I looked over to see both my ash haired friend in the doorway and Toran. The two boys stood at the doorway, staring at the scene they had walked in on. Arashi looked disturbed while Toran began to snicker.

"Wait until Kaito hears about this!" Toran said between laughs, giving me a wicked grin. He backed up and left the doorway.

"You WON'T tell him!" I shouted from my spot on the floor, hoping that his ears had caught my words. If they did, as a pureblood, he couldn't disobey me.

Arashi stood nervously in the door frame, not knowing what to say. "So.......what happened?" he asked after a moment of consideration.

"Keirrin couldn't sleep in her own room." I grumbled, not liking that the person in question was still hugging me around my stomach. "Her luggage somehow got lost in the airport too on the way here, so she snuck into my room. She thought I wouldn't mind, and I told her I didn't....but now I'm seriously recosidering my answer." I narrowed my eyes at my cousin.

"Oh....uh....hugging done now?" She mumbled, afraid of the expression on my face. Her arms unwinded themselves from me as if she was backing away from an angry bear.

Keirrin moved backwards until she was up against the side of the bed. She gave me a weak smile, but my furious attitude didn't break.

"While you're at it, change out of my night gown." I told her sternly, standing up and brushing myself off. My cousin stood up with me, but instead of brushing herself off as well, her hands found the bottom hem of the gown. She began to lift it as if she was going to take it off. "Not now!" I shouted at her, grabbing her hands and forcing them back down her sides.
