My eyes opened slowly to reveal a blury room. I brought a hand up and tried to sit up to get a better view.

"Emma, I wouldn't try that yet." A calm voice said beside me.

My head cleared at the sound of the voice. I was laying, half sitting up on the couch I had been on with Kaito. Kaito himself now was kneeling on the floor next to me.

"What happened?" I asked, my voice a little hoarse.

"You had some bad blood. We checked with the flight attendant. She said that packet she had poured for you was new so it shouldn't have been bad, unless someone did something to it before the captian and her got on." he explained."Kogeta's going to have it tested to see if that was the problem."

Kaito reached over to a nearby table and grabbed something.

"Drink the water, it was the only thing we could use to dilude the poison." he said and held the glass to my lips.

I accepted the water and drank the whole glass.

"Now, you might still feel queezy so stay on the couch." Kaito said and left to speak with Kogeta, who was in his usual seat at the front of the cabin.

Another figure steped in though, getting in the way of my sight. The person squatted down until they were closer to eye level with me.

"I promise you...I'm going to find who did this to you Emma. They've messed with the wrong friend, that's for sure." Toran said, his voice quivering with anger.

Before he could begin talking again, Hana put a hand on his shoulder and led him back to his seat. I'd never seen him like that before. Sure, I'd seen him serious---the one time he helped rescue me from Travis---but never like this before. In a way I was glad he felt he had to protect me like a good friend would, but in another he scared me.

"Don't let it get to you too bad." Arashi said suddenly.

He was sitting on the edge of the couch at my feet. I hadn't even sensed him get close.

"He gets that way any time a friend of his is harmed." he explained, somewhat distant as if remembering something. Then his whole mood changed."By the way, how are you?" he asked.

"I feel dizy. And as if everyone keeps on swarming around me." I replied feeling my forehead as if that could stop the spinning feeling I had.

"Oh, sorry I didn't mean to make you worse. I'll just leave the...." Arashi began.

"It's no big deal, really. I was just trying to be funny." I said before he could get up off the couch.

"Really? I couldn't tell. You sound awful." he said sincerely.

"I feel awful." I emphasized."Isn't there any kind of medicine I can take?" I asked.

"Not on board with us. All we have was human medication, so we had to use plain water." Arashi said."Kaito had me force water down your throat. I almost thought I was drowning you."

"Wait? You gave me the water not Kaito?" I asked, a bit confused."Why couldn't Kaito?"

At first he seemed confused at my question and then saw the meaning behind it.

"I can manipulate water, so I could give you more faster and safer than a regular person could do." he elaborated.

"Oh..well thank you." I replied, still sounding a bit sickly.

"You don't have to thank me, I live to serve you. You are a pureblood after all." Arashi responded imediately after my thanks."I really hope you do get better though. We're already more than half way there." he said, sounding almost anxious.
