After I had helped Violet clean up the black eyeliner off her face in the Moon Dorm common bathroom, we relaxed in the lounge. She sputtered and sniffed about how much she had feared Kogeta was dead. The last thing I wanted to tell her now was that he wasn't out of the woods yet, so I kept my mouth closed. I nodded where a spoken answer wasn't required and offered what advice I could. Really, I had no idea how to deal with this sappy, sobbing person. When it camed to situations like this, I had always played the part of the person who was half dead. I wondered if this went through Kaito's head every time I was in trouble.

Eventually, the boys did come down from upstairs. Kaito and Koien were still supporting Kogeta by placing his arms on their shoulders however. Although, the outter appearance of the telepathic vampire looked better. His body had been washed so the cuts weren't highlighted by bright crimsion blood. The clothing on his body was a fresh set of Night Class shirt, jacket, and pants. Kaito and Koien had also changed out of their tuxes in favor of their night class uniforms. They must have accidently gotten stains on them while trying to help the noble.

The three boys walked over to the couch in the lounge and sat Kogeta down on it first before sitting down on either side of them. Violet and I sat on the chairs that flanked each side of the couch, so we were facing each other.

"Kogeta?" Violet asked, looking into the eyes of her boyfriend.

He looked at her and blinked in response. "Who are you again?"

Violet gave a high pitched moan and started crying again. She burried her face into her hands.

I realized the boys didn't have a single clue on how to deal with her. It was up to me then. "Hey now," I called over to Violet who pulled her fingers away from her face at my words. "he probably didn't mean anything about it. I'm sure that Kogeta's just very shaken up by what he's going through. Forgetting faces is a normal ordeal, Violet."

"I...I'm sorry.." Kogeta muttered nervously, not really sure what to say.

There was a moment of silence before anyone tried to pick up the conversation.

"So Kogeta, can you tell us what you remember?" Kaito asked the question that was on all our minds.

"I can try." he replied with a sigh. "Well," his eyes glanced to me and returned to Kaito's, "I was running an errand. Outside. Someone grabbed me from behind. I hadn't even heard their thoughts. They must have kept their mind very blank...."

"Go on." Kaito urged.

"One minute I was conscious, the next minute I was out. I don't know who did it. I just barely remembering getting dragged through the forest between the Academy and the town when I came back to." he paused for a breath. "And then we fought. I can't recall what he looked like though. That's what bothers me the most. You think a guy who socked you over your head and fought with later would leave a pretty permanent image in your head." Kogeta sighed, shaking his head. "That's all I know."

"And it's fine." Kaito backed him up. "We can scour the forest later for clues. He could have dropped something when you fought."
