RoseThorned Vampire: Chapter 2

We had walked far enough to see the end of the hallway which was connected to the plane. My mind ached thinking about sharing a tight space with tons of people----and the noise! I thought I would lose my mind with the intensity it had been in the airport itself. To my surprise I didn't hear any overpowering noise. I entered the plane to find it utterly abandoned except for the captian, his co-captian, a single flight attendant, and us. 

What was more was the interior of the plane was lavish with deep scarlett chairs and dark wooden tables on the sides of it. The windows of the plane were tinted and didn't let any light in from the outside. The lighting came from deep scarlet bulbs that reflected it's light on everything. I at once realized that the chairs were only scarlet from the lighting, they were actually light silver in color. It looked and felt as if I was walking into some kind of club. I glanced the room over, my eyes taking in everything that reflected scarlet. No, more like I was walking into a vampire's club.

"I thought we were taking an average plane." I said, the words coming from my mouth without me realizing it.

"An average plane? With all those people on board?" Toran spoke, finally breaking his silence that he had held from our first part of the trip."I don't know about you but I was getting a severe head ache from all that human chatter." he said and gripped his head as if he did indeed have one.

 He spot me and smirked while lowering his hand back to his side.

"This is my," a look at Kogeta."Our," he corrected."father's private jets. Or at least one of them from his collection." Toran explained and sunk down into the nearest chair.

Hana took the seat that was back to back to his and then turned so that she could see Toran. Kaito and I took the couch seat on the left side of the plane more towards the front, but diagonal from them. The others who had come with us took seats in the back of the plane. All except for Kogeta who stayed in a seat in the very front to advise the captains in case one of them had a question. 

I realized our captains were human and the front of the jet's windows weren't tinted. When one of them would come out of the pilot's cabin blinding white light would flood into our cabin and we had to try and do our best not to flinch automatically from the light but carefully look away. We didn't want the captains to know that their passengers were actually vampires. Kogeta would quickly answer whatever question they had and shoo them back into their cabin so the door would close. 

While the captains didn't know what we were it was obvious our flight attendant did. Although she looked as if she was trained to handle 'special guests' she was a bit edgy and kept her eyes on us the whole time as she sat in her small cabin in the way back. Her cabin had all the suplies needed for a long trip including snacks and.....'drinks'. All three of the humans were wearing pure white (the lady's reflecting scarlet because of the lighting) I noticed.

After a moment's waiting we were intructed to stay seated as the jet took off. I could hear the humming of the engine as it started up and then felt the plane move as we went onto the run-way. Soon we were up in the air and we were informed that we could move about the cabin as we pleased now. No one moved however, but rather stayed seated in their same seats we chose as the flight attendant came around to each one of us asking if we were 'thirsty'. 

As she walked over to Toran and Hana, I felt sorry for the lady. Toran had that look on his face that said he was going to be ornery.

"Are you thirsty?" the flight attendant asked innocently.

"Yes, of course...for a pretty young lady like you." Toran responded in a velvety voice.

The flight attendant shook in fear at his words all over and her eyes became like a frightened dears. This didn't last long though, because the whole mood was interrupted thankfully by Hana.
