Rose~n~Thorn Vampire: Chapter 4

Emma

Yagari-sensei's class was soon over. Next was my groups and mine break between classes. We could do whatever we wanted within the school's main building---as long as it was within the rules. Thinking about rules made me wonder who had replaced me as a perfect? Zero had been able to handle for a while, but with his trial up-coming he wouldn't be able to be here. The headmaster would of had to get someone. In my curiousity I wandered over to the headmaster's office down the hall.

I noticed Toran, Arashi, and Raki going the same dirrection as me while Hana and Violet were going the opposite. I didn't see Koien come out of the class room, but I ignored it. I was focused on other things. Like why the boys were following me.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"We slipped out of class. Yagari told us to go to the headmaster for punishment since he doesn't like to deal with after-school detentions." Toran remarked."And I could ask you the same thing." He added, raising an eyebrow.

"I want to find out who they replaced me with for perfect." I replied.

"Why are you so concerned about tha......ugh." Toran asked, but was elbowed by Arashi for disrespecting a pureblood.

"I'm sure you'll be happy with Kaien Cross's decision." Arashi said.

We arrived at the headmaster's office and Arashi knocked.

"Come in." called the headmaster.

I entered first and the others followed behind me.

"Emma! Don't tell me you got in twouble too!" He cried out in his gayish-happy voice that freaked me out usually.

"Uh....no...actually I came here to ask who you got as the new perfect. Toran, Arashi, and Raki were the one's who got in trouble." I replied sheepishly.

"Oh! That's why! I see, I see!! Why don't you come on in then and show yourself to Emma dear!!!!!!" The headmaster said joyfully.

The doors squeaked a little bit as the person entered through them. She had strawberry blonde hair, that was a bit more red, and light brown eyes. 

I lost it.

"Are you kidding me??!! You made one of my best friends a perfect!!!!!!!" I cried out, waving my hands.

"I was short on time and since she had a vampire friend already," he said then softer,"although she didn't know it" then his voice got bigger. "She was the perfect choice to be made the new perfect of Cross Academy!" the headmaster exclamed.

Risa stood in the back, but once she realized that I hadn't changed (well, maybe not all that much) she was all for it.

"EMMA!!!!" She cried out.

She rushed over to me and began hugging the life out of me. Luckily I had vampire strength and it was weak to what it would have been if I was human.
