I couldn't find Toran or Arashi any where. It wasn't like I was trying to find them exactly, I just hadn't ran into them yet. Arashi said that they see me later, but he had looked like he was in a hurry when he had said that while shoving Toran ahead of him. Well, I thought, if they wanted me they would find me. They are vampires, I reasoned with myself.

Actually, I was surprised that I was anxious to want to hang out with a bunch of vampires. I had only learned about their existance last Sunday night. My ability to accept this was a bit abnormal, though I could understand why. When I hadn't known of thier existance, I read a lot of books about the supernatural. So maybe that's why I wasn't freaked out like a normal person would. Or should, I thought to myself.

Everything within the last few hours of day light had magically cleared up. Risa had gotten into a better mood by the end of the day. Zero had apologized, not in the most graceful manner, but at least he had attempted in his akward voice. And I had learned the real reason why Zero was so grouchy and who Yuuki was.

Come to think of it, Zero hadn't been grouchy at all today. His apology had seemed sincere. He had even helped me get the crazed fan girls in line and helped me get up after the one fan girl had pushed me down. Also, he had joked about getting a whistle for me. Which was a shocker, because I had never seen him in a better mood.

I rounded the corner and began to walk down the hallway until I came to a set of oak doors. I pulled one open and walked in. Going through the library was a shortcut to the other side of the school, and had saved me a couple of times when I had been almost late to my classes.

There were several Night class students in the library. One was causually sitting in a chair at one of the long, wooden tables for studying, reading a book. Two more were looking through the giant bookshelves that towered over them, trying to locate a book together.

I walked right through, not bothered at all by them, focusing on the other set of oak doors on the far side of the library. Seeing vampires act like humans was a bit strange though. I was sure they had their own society and all, it's just that I thought they were arogant snobs like in my books that I had read and thought they only though of humans as cattle.

"Hey, looking for my brother and Arashi?" a voice said. It inturrupted my thoughts.

I turned around, surprised to see Kogeta. But I made sure I hid my surprise on the outside.

"Ohhh. Hey Kogeta." I managed to reply before too much time had passed.

He was leaning against the checkout desk and there was no librarian in the leather seat behind it. A book was in his one hand, a finger in where he held his place. He didn't look like he was taking much intrest in me. Most likely he was waiting for the librarian to return and settled for making small talk with me.

"D'ya know where the librarian went?" Kogeta asked me, pointing with the hand that the book was in without losing his place. His other hand rested on the desk.

"No. Sorry." I replied to his question in an even voice."You know where....."

"My brother and Arashi are? Yes, I do. They're out fooling around. The idiots." he said, inturrupting me."And yes. I do think you should go and check up on them."

"How did you know..." I began.

"What you were thinking?" he finished."I can read people's thoughts, read recent memories, and communicate to others via my mind." Like this, he said without his lips moving.

Cool, I thought.

Yes. Very, he commented. I can also link minds so that two or more people can communicate by telepathy.
