"It's not my fault." Risa said yelling at the top of her lungs. Her face was flushed from screaming at Sam. This was by far the worst fight they ever had, more bad than....well, maybe this was the second worst fight they had. Risa's eye's were darting around still looking for her lost friend.

"Yes it is. If you hadn't gotten me so mad then I might of seen where she went!" Sam said in a voice that was a little louder than normal speaking tone. Her voice was dry. Dry from yelling at Risa and her jokes that did anything but lighten up situations. Usually they were the best of friends, but sometimes Risa's bad timed jokes got on her nerves when she was under preasure.

"Well maybe!!" Risa started. Voice more of a scream. Then she composed herself. Yelling wouldn't get her anywhere. "Well maybe" she said in a whisper that was so soft you had to listen closely. "Maybe, we should retrace our steps." she ended. She felt guilty for yelling now.

Sam thought for a while. Then took in a small puff of air and let it out as to start speaking, but stopped. She looked around a bit trying to decide which way they had come from. "I don't think we can find what way we came in anyways, but we can try." Sam said in her own quiet, trembling voice. Facing away from Risa, not wanting to look at her sad eyes. They had gotten lost due to both of thier arguing. And only now, after the fighting had died down that she realised the reason she had refused to come. Sam was a girl who looked strong on the outside, tried to sound strong, and tried to believe she was too, but she wasn't. She might look strong on the outside, but the truth was she was really fragile on the inside. The reason she dreaded to try and save the two Freshie girls was because of the supposive monster that came out at night. Sam shivered in fear.

Risa and Sam started to head down one of the ally ways they thought they had come down. They walked on silent, eyes always darting in fear of the monster. They walked until it felt like ages. And then there was a crack of lightning. And a terrified scream.

"Emma!!" They both said simatameously in loud, worried voices facing the dirrection the scream had come from. They started running.

"No, We haven't found them yet Yagari Sensei. We just entered the outside part of the old part of town." Zero responded on his walkie-talkie.
The headmaster and him had just arrived. They decided to split up. Caien was a skilled swordsman, Yagari was a pro at a gun, and Zero, Zero was a vampire---a creature of the night. To him darkness was nothing, he could see in the dark. He had super strength, agility, and speed. If his target had lost blood recently, he could pick up on the trail and find them in no time. But at the same time he had to resist the temptation of the scarlet liquid. Drinking Yuuki's blood had cured him from falling to a level E. Now he wasn't the dirtiest, scum life of vampire society. Just the low peasant, like status which grouped him with vampires whose families weren't as famous as the Pure Bloods and Nobles who could control the elements and such.

Zero leaped over the roof tops with ease. These freshman and Juniors must have gone pretty far in, which meant the more danger that was waiting for them. Level Es would be swarming them as soon as blood was spilled. In a way Zero felt sorry for the Level Es. It had not been their fault that they had turned into monsters because of the selfish Pure Bloods. But on the other hand he wan't. People who are bitten by Pure Bloods only have two destinies. One is they die of the venomous poison of the Pure Blood's bite or they live through it only to slowly sink to vampire who is not in control of thier mind. The Level E only thirsts for blood and doesn't care who they get it from or who they kill to get it. They are only one word.....monsters. And hence the name Level E------Level end.

Running towards the scream, I found myself, from in a small narrow ally that was only as wide as a chair's width, turning into an ally that was as wide as a big family table is length-wise. At this point I began to slow down and walk. Did I really want to head towards the danger? Yes. I would. I wans't about to run away like a dog with it's tail between it's legs and abandon the Freshie girls to their deaths. I began to run again.

Risa and Sam began running towards the scream. Now that Sam had thought about it she wans't exactly sure if it was Emma's scream or one of the Freshie girls' screams. But she ran none the less. Both of them were going to help who ever's scream it had been.

Crack of lightning. Scream.

"Did you hear that?" went the buzzing of Yagari's voice on the walkie-talkie.

"Yeah" Kaien Cross replied mono-tone.

Zero said nothing. His great agility had already gotten him halfway to the location of the scream. The scent of blood was thick, gagging him.

Risa swung around the corner to where the scream had come from. Her voice ripped with a loud scream.

"What's wrong Risa" Sam said as she came up behind. As she turned the corner, she let out a scream that defied her sore throat.
