Neytiri hugs each of her children before joining the other warriors as they head out.

One of the scouts spotted the sky people coming onto the Awa'atlu beach. Jake suspects they're likely to wander into the forest looking for them, now is their time to strike.

Tonowari, Jake, Ronal, and Neytiri all greet their children before leaving to fight. While the warriors head into the forest, the Metkayina kids and the young Sullys stand at the edge of the clearing.

As their siblings turn and head back to the hut, Aonung glances at Neteyam. His breathing grows heavier as he watches his parents and the others leave them behind.

Aonung- Neteyam.

He doesn't answer, so Aonung places a hand on his shoulder. It startles him, but brings him out of his mind.

Aonung- You okay?

Neteyam- Yeah, just . . .

Neteyam thinks for a moment, then looks around before grabbing Aonung's hand and dragging him off to the same tree they relaxed in before.

Meanwhile, Kiri looks behind them as they approach the hut, but sees two of them missing.

Kiri- Hey, where's Neteyam and Aonung?

Lo'ak- Training, to keep their mind off things.

Lo'ak's quick excuse for them works, and Kiri follows Tuktirey into the Sullys hut. Tsireya, standing hand in hand with Lo'ak, looks back toward the trees, worried.

Tsireya- I hope my mother will be okay.

Lo'ak- That woman is so tough it scares me, I think she'll be fine.

Tsireya laughs lightly, and Lo'ak smiles, glad he could cheer her up. Rotxo, on the other hand, rolls his eyes as he's been doing a lot as of late.

Tsireya notices the strange behavior and lets go of Lo'ak to walk over to him.

Tsireya- Rotxo, what's troubling you?

Rotxo looks at the worried girl, then turns his head as if she didn't say a thing. She takes this as a plea for help, and places a hand on his arm, but he flinches and hisses at her.

She jumps back, and Lo'ak holds his arm out in front of her, shielding her from Rotxo.

The boy storms off and Lo'ak gives Tsireya an apologetic look.

Lo'ak- I'll handle this, okay?

Tsireya- Okay.

Lo'ak pecks Tsireya's lips before running off after Rotxo.

He catches him before he leaves the settlement, and grabs his arm. He drags the smaller boy behind a cluster of trees on the edge of the settlement.

Lo'ak- Why did you do that?

Rotxo- Maybe because she's always latched onto you like a leach.

Lo'ak rolls his eyes at the boy's attitude.

Lo'ak- You know I'm yours. But Tsireya can't know that until later, after the stress of all this is gone.

Rotxo- I care about her, really, she's like a sister to me. But when she's with you it makes me want to shoot an arrow through her chest.

Lo'ak freezes for a moment, a little scared of Rotxo's intense feelings, but also attracted to them.

Lo'ak- I understand what you're feeling, but-

Rotxo- I don't think you do.

Lo'ak- Look, you need to chill out with the obvious hatred towards her right now. You're gonna cause suspicion and expose us both.

Rotxo- That doesn't sound so bad to me.

Lo'ak- Yeah, because Aonung isn't gonna kill you.

Rotxo- He won't kill you either.

Lo'ak- I wish that were true.

Rotxo- It is. I won't let him do anything to you.

Lo'ak- Are you saying you would go against Aonung for me?

Rotxo- That's exactly what I'm saying.

Lo'ak- Damn.

Rotxo- Oh are you attracted to me now?

Lo'ak groans, annoyed with Rotxo's justified jealousy. Rotxo smirks, knowing he's annoying the heck outta Lo'ak.

Lo'ak- You done making me feel guilty?

Rotxo- For now.

The smaller boy holds out his arms for a hug, regaining the small smile Lo'ak is used to seeing on him.

Lo'ak- Cute but deadly. You're something else.
