Nearby, Neteyam finds the chief's son unconscious on the ground.

Aonung feels someone tapping his face, and speaking to him in a desperate whisper. His eyes slowly begin to open, then his memories flood back to him and he's suddenly wide awake.

He sits up quickly, and Neteyam pulls him off the ground.

Neteyam- Come on, we have to hide.

Aonung- What about Rotxo and Lo'ak?

Neteyam- We don't have time, they're getting closer.

Neteyam drags Aonung with him as he begins to run as far away from the coming sky people as possible.

Once they're what Neteyam considers a safe distance away, they stop to catch their breath, leaning against a large tree.

Aonung peeks around the trunk, making sure they weren't followed, then sighs in relief.

Aonung- Is this what your life was like before coming here?

Neteyam- Pretty much. Feels like home now.

Neteyam chuckles briefly at his own humor before coughing.

Aonung looks at the boy, noticing his erratic breathing. Then his gaze trails down to a spot the boy is covering on his side.

Seeing the amount of blood flowing through his fingers and staining his side makes Aonung's eyes widen.

Aonung- Neteyam, you're hit!

Neteyam turns towards the marine boy, placing his other hand on his mouth.

Neteyam- Keep it down, skxawng . . . I'm fine.

Aonung just watches the unfocused golden eyes in front of him, in fear. They look like they could roll back any second.

He removes the boy's hand from his face, and holds it tightly.

Aonung- No you're not. You can barely stand.

Neteyam- Mo'at will patch me up, I'll be fine.

Aonung- Mo'at?

Neteyam pulls his hand back, and turns the other way, stumbling.

Neteyam- We have to keep moving.

Jake- Neteyam?

Aonung turns to his right and sees Jake, with Lo'ak and Rotxo in tow.

Jake runs up to his son, and the boy turns to him, looking faint. Then he looks down at the weakly held wound on Neteyam's side.

Jake- Oh no. No, no, no, hold on.

Jake grabs onto a large leaf, and begins to tear it in half.

Aonung looks into Neteyam's eyes, checking on him, but the golden orbs roll back as his eyelids flutter closed, and the boy falls over.

Aonung catches him, and lays him on the ground, while Jake kneels down with two halves of the large leaf.

He quickly wraps the leaves around the wound, pulling it a bit tighter. Then he lifts Neteyam's limp body up onto his shoulders.

Jake- Stay close, and stay quiet.

The three teens nod, and follow Jake as he leads them safely back to the enclosure.

When they all return, the warriors are waiting and ready. Tonowari walks up to Jake, and sees the troublesome boys he has with him.

Jake- We had a little setback here, but the plan's still on. Prepare for phase two.

Ronal walks up to Jake then leads him to her hut, where he lays Neteyam down for her to tend to.

While the tsahík cares for his son, Jake leads the warriors back out into the forest for the second phase in their plan against the invaders.
