Neteyam goes back to the area his student is waiting in, and sees him sitting against a tree with a smug look.

Aonung- Finally gonna teach me now? Or do I have to wait until your father actually scolds you?

Neteyam- You know, I could really beat your ass right now, and you wouldn't be able to stop me.

Aonung- I doubt that.

He walks up to the marine boy, with a scowl, as he stands from his spot.

Neteyam- I'm getting tired of you doubting my strength.

Aonung- Are you?

Neteyam- You keep undermining my authority.

Aonung- And you keep doing nothing about it.

Neteyam stands defensively, glaring into Aonung's face.

Neteyam- You think you can take me just because you're strong? You need more than brawn to win a fight.

Aonung- Against you, I don't even need my strength. You won't hit me.

Neteyam- You don't know that.

Aonung- Oh yes I do. When you look at me, all you see is the injured lover you once had, and the last thing you want to do is hurt him.

He goes silent, in a bit of awe at Aonung's ability to still see right through him even with his memories now gone, and him being basically a stranger. Similarly though, the same thing happened after they first met. It's incredibly frustrating, because even after all that time together Neteyam still isn't able to see through Aonung as clearly as the boy sees through him.

Aonung- I am not him.

Neteyam- Yes you are.

Aonung- I'm not!

He's suddenly shoved backward, but not hard enough to fall.

Neteyam- Whether you think so or not, I still care about you, I can't help that.

Aonung- (scoffs) You only say things like that because you think it'll make me like you.

Neteyam- No I don't.

Aonung- Yeah right. There's always someone who wants to be the future Olo'eyktan's mate, don't act like you're any different.

Neteyam- I am different. What is there to gain by chasing after titles and power?

Aonung- You think you can fool me, but you're mistaken, so stop acting like that.

Neteyam- It's not an act, this is how I feel . . . And it's your fault to begin with.

Aonung- My fault?

Jake- Neteyam!

Their argument is interrupted as Jake suddenly comes back to them, this time with company. Yune walks next to him, and meets Neteyam's gaze.
