With their new attire on, the teens head out onto the beach, but the others aren't there. As they head into the water, calling their Ilu, Rotxo wonders where Talon's group is.

Spider gets onto the back of Tsireya's Ilu, since he hasn't yet learned to ride one. Meanwhile, the others are all on their own, and getting impatient.

Lo'ak- Maybe they decided not to come.

Kiri- And maybe that's for the better, I mean, we've already got guests.

Yune- Smart point.

Tsireya- It would have been nice for you to get over the fight you guys had though.

Lo'ak- Maybe they aren't coming.

Rotxo- That wouldn't make any sense, he was excited to come.

Lo'ak- We don't have all day, Rotxo.

Rotxo- I get it, you don't want them to come, but rush me one more time, Lo'ak. One more time.

Lo'ak stops talking after hearing the silent threat behind his mate's words. The others stifle their laughs, thinking it funny.

Rotxo- There they are.

He points onto the beach as he slides off his Ilu, but not only are Talon and the familiar group of faces there, some extras seem to be tagging along.

Aonung- Who the hell are the others?

Lo'ak- That's four fucking extra people.

Kiri- What the hell does he think this is, some kind of party?

Spider- That wouldn't be a bad idea.

Kiri- Don't even.

Rotxo- I think you're right, look, one has a drum.

Rotxo, Aonung, and Lo'ak pull back up to shore and go to greet Talon and the others on land. Neteyam hangs back, wondering how their group going out for a ride turned into a bunch of teens having a party.

He isn't even sure they're allowed to host their own. He also isn't sure he feels comfortable with all of them going outside the reef together, it's a lot of heads to keep track of.

On the beach, Rotxo gives Talon a confused look, while Aonung and Lo'ak glare at him. Talon quickly holds his hands up in surrender, while Shore glares right back at Aonung.

Talon- Now hold on, let me explain.

Lo'ak- Start talking.

Talon- We were headed to the beach, but ran into these guys. Don't worry, by the way, they're friends. The topic of parties came up. Specifically, the idea of having our own. Just for a little fun, ya'know?

Aonung- It's a stupid idea.

Lo'ak- Well . . .

Rotxo- But it would be fun, don't you think?

Rotxo looks up at Lo'ak expectantly, and he smirks.

Lo'ak- Yeah. I've done stupid things before, what's one more?

His mate smiles at him, and he's glad, but the sensitive switch on the boy's mood is starting to scare him.

Aonung- A bunch of dumb kids doing dumb shit out of sight with no supervision, that's what you want?

Lo'ak- Hey, we have Na'haji.

Aonung- He's 19, and stupidity is contagious.

Lo'ak- Better than nothing, right? Rotxo?

Rotxo nods, and takes a moment to observe the new faces. Two girls and two boys, which makes their already large group even bigger.

One would normally be starting to feel concerned about safety, but so long as no one ends up in danger or does something incredibly stupid, he thinks they should be fine.

Times haven't been nearly as relaxed or fun as they used to be, and all he's wanted is for them to hang out and enjoy each other's company. To reconnect after having to go through rough times, and rebuild the tight bonds they had.

Sure they've had their discord, but at the end of the day they were ride or die for each other. So, is he willing to do something irresponsible to keep things that way?

Yes.

Aonung- You can't be serious.

Rotxo- I'm down, as long as no one strays away from everyone else. Those aren't what I'd call the safest waters.

Talon- No problem.

Rotxo- So, introductions?

Talon- My guys Dale and Somtra. Then my girls Tsui and Fayne.

Lo'ak- What's up guys.

The girl with her hair in a bun, Fayne, locks eyes with Lo'ak and she smiles at him.

Aonung- If we're doing this, you better bring hunting gear to feed yourselves.

Talon- Already equipped.

Aonung- Okay then. Against anyone's better judgment, let's go.

With everything they need, including a heightened irresponsible mindset, the large group of teens head outside the reef, on a fun path to the Three Brothers rocks.

To Neteyam's surprise, no one questioned their large group. He can only assume they either didn't notice or didn't care.

Whatever the reason, they're out here now, with a determination to get away from their lives that seem to be getting all too serious.

But they have no idea just how serious things will soon become.
