He makes his way across the village, locating the Sully den. But before he makes his way to the entrance, the sound of an argument stops him in his tracks.

Making certain he's unseen, he moves closer to the side of their home, peaking in to see what's going on before he makes the decision to barge in.

Kiri and Neteyam stand in the middle of the den, going back and forth at each other.

Kiri- You're supposed to be the responsible one.

Neteyam- When was the last time you saw someone drunk act responsible?

She scoffs at his rhetorical question.

Neteyam- You can't get mad at me for this.

Kiri- Oh really? I can't get mad at you for trying to kill my friend? All because you want Aonung, but it turns out he's taken.

Neteyam- You make it sound like some petty revenge.

Kiri- Is it not?

Neteyam- No, it's more than that.

Kiri- You know what you sound like? "Oh woe is me, I can't have Aonung's glorious dong shoved up my ass."

Neteyam rolls his eyes at her mocking tone.

Kiri- There are plenty of other dongs out there, Tey. Take your pick instead of trying to take his away from his own mate.

Neteyam- Mo'dan isn't as innocent in this as you think.

Kiri- Then tell me, what did he do to deserve death?

Neteyam- . . . I can't say.

Kiri- Exactly, because the only thing he's done "wrong" is take your crush. Honestly, bro, I didn't think you were the type to fall so hard.

Neteyam- It isn't that simple.

Kiri- I sure hope it isn't. I wouldn't want to think my brother would do some serious shit like that for something so trivial.

Neteyam- Does your crush on Mo'dan fall under trivial too?

Kiri- Crush on Mo'dan? Who the fuck told you that?

Neteyam- You're taking his side like he can do no wrong, and going against your own brother.

Kiri- Please. He acted like he was so into you I was shocked when I found out he was with Aonung. But I stand with the victim here, you took things too far.

Neteyam- Mo'dan is not the victim!

Kiri- Ugh! Okay, let's say he isn't the only one. Who else is there?

Neteyam- He's not one at all.

Kiri- But he was yours.

Neteyam- No he wasn't, he's still alive . . . but perhaps he shouldn't be.

Kiri- Neteyam, tell me you wouldn't try that again sober.

He stares into her gaze without a word.

Kiri- No, don't.

Neteyam- Why? Because you don't want me exiled? Or because you still think Mo'dan is innocent?

Kiri- Of course I still think he's innocent, you haven't given any evidence proving otherwise.

Neteyam- Because I can't!

Kiri- If you won't tell me anything, how do you expect me to believe you?!

Neteyam- I'm your brother, I didn't think I needed to prove anything to you! I thought you would just trust me!

Kiri- I do trust you, but you crossed the line, Tey!

Neteyam- It was no worse than what he did.

Kiri- What did he do?!

He goes silent once more, and Kiri throws her arms in the air with a roll of her eyes.

Kiri- Unbelievable.
