Sorfé looks between them, not knowing a thing about what they're discussing.
Lo'ak- I don't care how he feels about that right now. I only care about beating the shit outta that-
Neteyam- I hear you, okay. I'll go speak with him.
Neteyam leaves the den, while the others shake their heads, beyond fed up with the situation.
Sorfé- I apologize for my brother's actions. He is not usually like this.
Kiri- Can't you just talk to him or something? Get him to stop?
Sorfé- I cannot. He seldom listens to others.
Rotxo- Not even your parents?
Sorfé- Our mother no longer tries.
Lo'ak- What about the chief?
Sorfé- Our uncle is close to him, but is not one for discipline. He lets him do as he pleases.
Rotxo and Kiri exchange a look, both zoning in on the same thing.
Kiri- The chief isn't your father?
Sorfé- No, he lies with Eywa.
The boy's head drops a bit, making them leave the topic alone.
Lo'ak- So, you're saying there's no one here he'll listen to?
Sorfé- He does listen to Yune, but I know you do not care for him.
Rotxo- I don't care as long as he can get him to chill the fuck out.
Lo'ak- Can you ask him to help?
Sorfé- Coming from me, he will not believe it's worth his time. One of you must ask him, to prove that it is.
Kiri- Damn, he's a pain in the ass without even being around.
Lo'ak- You should probably run that by Neteyam, before anyone does anything.
Sorfé- Okay.
Lilina- Uh, pardon me.
They each turn to the entrance and see a girl standing there with a large net balled into her arms.
Rotxo- Great, more shit to fix.
Lilina- Sorry, but f-Aonung said that he would mend this for me.
Lo'ak- Aonung, huh? No wonder he's been slackin', he's over here picking up girls on the side.
Rotxo- Stop it, Lo, you know he isn't like that.
Kiri- I'll take that for you.
Kiri goes over to retrieve the net and sit it in Aonung's section of work.
Lilina- So, where is he? I thought he was on his way here.
Lo'ak- Yeah, he was. Came and took his boyfriend off somewhere.
Lilina- Oh . . . Okay. Thank you.
She turns to walk off, obviously caught off guard by what Lo'ak said to her. He smirks, proud of himself for deterring any more competition from his brother.
They just got the last problem out of the way and he won't stand for any more.
