Jake exhales sharply and gives Aonung a stern look.
Jake- Stay away from my son.
Aonung- No, Jake, please. I want to be with Neteyam.
Jake- Well you can't! You have a mate! Not just some little boyfriend, a mate! So take responsibility. I don't give a shit if you regret the decision.
Neytiri- Jake.
He looks at Ronal, and realizes he just yelled and cursed at her son. He clears his throat, and tones his voice down.
Jake- Sorry.
Ronal- No worries, you are the Olo'eyktan, and you speak the truth. My son must face the consequences of his actions.
The boy's blood begins to boil. Though they don't know it, they're saying he should have to deal with the outcome of something he never wanted to happen. But what of the boy who, in his eyes, has done something wrong.
Aonung- What about Lo'ak?
Jake- What about him?
Aonung- The reason we were fighting, he went behind Tsireya's back and mated with Rotxo. Worst of all, he kept leading her on.
Neytiri and Jake exchange a look, hardly surprised. Their youngest son always seems to find his way into trouble. Neytiri is internally glad for her son to find someone he thinks is worthy, but also wishes he hadn't hurt the Tsahìk's daughter doing so.
Ronal- I hate to see my daughter hurt, but he was not her mate. If he found someone else, then it was not meant to be.
Aonung looks away with a hiss.
Ronal- Toruk Makto, is my son forbidden from seeing your eldest boy?
Jake- Yes, until I say otherwise.
Neytiri- Ma'Jake.
Jake- What?
Neytiri- You know how he is.
Jake- Telling Neteyan not to see him will only make him want to, and I know he would disobey me. So, I'm leaving this up to Aonung.
Ronal- He won't disappoint. Aonung knows responsibility is over everything else.
Jake- Good.
Ronal stands from her spot, and looks down at her angered son.
Ronal- You are dismissed.
He stands quickly, and goes to the back room, where Tsireya is sitting on her blanket with Wari. Ronal walks Jake and Neytiri to the entrance to see them out.
Jake- I'm sorry about Tsireya, by the way.
Ronal- It's alright, I feel no resentment towards Lo'ak. He merely chose one of my children over another.
Neytiri- I'm glad you are okay with his decision.
Ronal- Rotxo had an unfortunate start in life, and was very timid by virtue. Lately I have seen a change in him, as if the fire of his torch has finally been lit. If your boy was the cause of that, I am grateful he chose him.
Neytiri- Thank you, Ronal.
Ronal- Thank you.
