Neteyam takes a deep breath, keeping cool so he doesn't accidentally let his hand swing to slap some sense into this boy. He's always been slightly impressed by Aonung's ability to seem calm and collected in most situations, but this time it's just annoying to him. Every response given in such a matter of fact tone threatens to set him off.

Some would say they've been getting along since they came to terms with one another and decided to try their luck at friendship again.

They've seemed like friends, but in truth they're just being politely formal, as Aonung does with everyone. That fact stings more than anything, since he was once so special.

This hasn't been friendship or even acquaintanceship, the truth is, he's just been avoiding the problem at hand, for the sake of focusing as his father told him to, but he's tired of it. In fact, he's been tired of it for the entire month, and now being called meaningless to his face, as if he's truly nothing to him after being treated like just one of everyone else, is the last straw.

Neteyam- So that's it then.

He speaks calmly and slowly resumes his stroll, and Aonung cautiously strolls with him to hear what else he'll say.

Neteyam- I'm no one important.

Aonung- Now you're getting it.

Neteyam- And I mean absolutely nothing to you.

Aonung- Exactly.

Neteyam- Then prove it.

Aonung stops and gives him a confused look. He does so as well, turning to fully face him, now having a turn to be the calm and unphased one.

Aonung- Prove it?

Neteyam- Kiss me.

Aonung- What?

Neteyam- If you can kiss me and walk away without feeling a thing, then I'll believe you, and leave you alone.

He stands with his arms crossed, while Aonung looks a little distraught for a moment before regaining his composure.

Aonung- No, you're just trying to stir up those . . . those feelings that aren't mine.

Neteyam- If they aren't yours, then why are they so hard for you to control?

The boy goes silent, and Neteyam steps towards him, making him step back.

Neteyam- I'll tell you why. They aren't just remnants of memories you lost, it's how you really feel, but you just don't want to accept that. Stubborn ass.

Aonung- You're wrong.

Neteyam- You just wanted to keep trying to go back to the way you were, thinking it's better that way, but even your own body rejected that.

Aonung's composed expression momentarily turns into a glare, then he tries to reel the obvious emotion back in.

Aonung- I'll say this once more. You are nothing to me.

Neteyam- Prove it, or it isn't so.

He takes a few steps closer, looking right up into Aonung's eyes. The boy's ears lay back, and he starts looking elsewhere for a second, clearly nervous.

The Sully boy almost smirks, liking the feeling of being in control of the situation. Seeing Aonung so flustered just proves his point, but getting him to admit that to himself is another matter.

Neteyam- Gonna do it or no-

An abrupt peck on his lips cuts him off, and makes him take a small step back. The kiss was as quick as the second that comes after it before he receives another one. Though it was still rushed, Aonung's lips linger on his for a bit longer.

The moment he pulls away again, his hand slides on to the side of Neteyam's face as he releases a breath he didn't know he was holding.

Gazing only at Neteyam's mouth, as if he isn't allowed to look elsewhere, he slides his hand down to Neteyam's neck, and pulls him closer to reconnect their lips. He allows his to linger in contact and move against Neteyam's for a longer period, rather than rush to pull them away.

Aonung's other hand wraps around his lower back, pulling him even closer, dispersing all space between them. He slides his own hands around Aonung's waist, then up his back and to his shoulders in an embrace.

Their kiss deepens by the second, due to his marine boy's uncharacteristic urgency.

Aonung has always granted gentle kisses, and only offered more once he decided to heat things up, but even then, he only followed the pace. This kiss is filled with so much desperation, it's fevering. He's never had to try so hard to keep up, and with his body pressed against Aonung's, his temperature is rising rapidly.

A rush of adrenaline runs through him, making his hands tremble. His heart starts pounding, and he feels his pulse strongly throughout his entire body.

As Aonung's lips continue to move against his, with a hand playing on the sensitivity of his neck, he begins to feel lightheaded. His lips movements become sloppy, unable to keep up, and eyes open slightly, feeling dazed. Aonung only notices his state when he suddenly tilts backward a bit, feeling off balance.

Aonung finally puts an end to their heated session, letting the rousing fog fade from his mind as he becomes aware of his surroundings again. He holds Neteyam securely as the boy leans forward and plops his head onto his shoulder, with heavy breaths and slight tremble.

He thought he could feel the emotion in their last kiss, but it was nothing compared to this.

Neteyam- Damn, you translated a lot with that one.
