The next morning, Neteyam slowly awakens in a den. He turns and sees Ronal right next to him. She smiles at him while applying a cream to his wound.

Ronal- This will dull the pain. It was mostly healed before you reopened it, so it's closing back well.

He looks down at the wound that seems smaller than it was before.

Neteyam- How did I lose so much blood through that?

Ronal- The pulling and flexing of your muscles as you fought and swam made it gush out.

Neteyam- Oh . . .

Ronal- You will be fit to resume your normal life in just a couple of weeks, do not worry.

As Ronal finishes, she gathers her things and sets them neatly aside. Then gets up as Aonung walks over to him with bandages.

Ronal retreats to the back room of the den, while Neteyam sits up for Aonung to wrap his wound.

Neteyam- Playing Tsahìk now?

Aonung- I just like to help you.

Neteyam smiles as the marine boy finishes wrapping. Aonung smiles back at him, happy to see him feeling better.

Neteyam- Seems like you need some help too.

Aonung- What makes you say that?

Neteyam- Really? You ran off without your knife and spear.

Aonung chuckles at the dumb mistake he made. The whole situation may have stressed everyone else out, but to him, it was a helping experience.

Neteyam- Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Aonung- Look who's talking.

Neteyam- I'm serious.

Aonung- (sighs) I know . . . I'm sorry for snapping at you, before, by the way.

Neteyam- I don't care about that, I'm just glad you're safe now. But do not do anything like that again or I'm gonna hurt you.

Aonung- (laughs) I won't, you have my word.

Neteyam- Good.

Aonung- By the way, I have great news.

Neteyam's ears perk up in interest.

Aonung- Until I am ready to assume leadership, your father will temporarily become the Olo'eyktan in my place.

The blue boy blinks, processing what he just heard.

Neteyam- . . . No way!

Aonung- And my mother will still be Tsahìk, to ensure the clan respects him and her decision. She also agreed to hold the celebration after you're better.

Neteyam- I'll be sure to thank her for that. After everything that happened, it's nice to finally hear some good news.

Aonung smiles, and reaches forward, cupping Neteyam's chin in his hand. Shifting the mood.

Aonung- What would you say if I asked for a little mouth to mouth now?

Neteyam chuckles a bit at Aonung suddenly continuing where they left off before.

Neteyam- I'd say there's no need to ask.

He pulls Neteyam forward and begins to kiss him softly, but their sweet moment is interrupted by a tall figure suddenly standing there.

Mo'dan- Cheating, Nung?

His voice makes both boys snap their gaze to the entrance of the den. In all the chaos, Neteyam had momentarily forgotten about the horrible thing Mo'dan did to Aonung.

Mo'dan- I didn't think you were the type.
