Early in the morning, before the sky has fully brightened, Tsireya's ear twitches, hearing the sound of heavy breathing. Her eyes peel open, unhappy she decided to wake up early on a day she knows they have off.
It's been another month and a half, and recently, Jake's warriors found the location of the Sky People's new base. They were told to take this day off to rest up, because he's out marking the scouting route and the moment he gets back he's sending them on their first mission.
They'll stay at a location he picked near the base, for just two days, so they can report what they see during 24 hour surveillance. It'll be more effective than staying for just a few hours before having to go all the way back home, those hours spent traveling could cause them to miss something potentially important.
She leans up in her hammock, stretches slightly, then looks over at her older brother in his. It's his heavy breathing that woke her, and his hand is gripping at his hammock.
With concern on her still tired face, she slides off her hammock and goes over to Rotxo's, shaking the boy gently, and whispers to him when he begins to stir.
Tsireya- Rotxo. Rotxo, wake up.
Rotxo- What is it?
With a soft groan, he turns on his other side to face her.
Rotxo- Why are you awake?
Tsireya- It's Aonung, he's having a nightmare again. Should I wake him?
Rotxo- I don't know, and I also don't feel like asking what he's been dreaming about only to have him act like it didn't happen. Maybe you should just leave him asleep.
Tsireya- Seriously?
Rotxo- Hey, maybe letting him sleep through whatever it is instead of taking him out of it will make him wanna talk about it.
She rolls her eyes then walks over to Aonung's hammock, shaking his restless body gently, but still ends up startling him awake.
With a small gasp he jolts up and wraps his arms around himself, rubbing them a bit as he catches his breath.
Tsireya- Are you okay?
Aonung- Uh, yeah, yeah.
Rotxo- Gonna tell us what you were dreaming about this time, or act like it doesn't matter?
Aonung- It doesn't. There are more important things you should focus on.
Tsireya- Like moving in with Lo'ak today.
She smirks back at Rotxo, making him smile through the annoyance he feels towards Aonung at the moment.
Aonung- I still can't figure out what made you fall for that fool.
Tsireya- Aonung.
Aonung- I'm just saying. I mean, he's not a bad guy, but he's kinda stupid sometimes.
Rotxo stifles a laugh, and Tsireya shakes her head, knowing he doesn't always make the smartest decisions, but she still wouldn't call him stupid. When Aonung interacts with him, things are friendly, mostly from Lo'ak's side, and Aonung treats him nicely, as he's been doing with each of the Sullys.
They've all been having lunch with each other, since Tsireya convinced Aonung to join them, along with the Paltu boys.
Aonung hasn't been especially friendly with anyone specific, but it's nothing new, since that's how he is with most people.
