The next morning, the nature of the entire village has shifted as the villagers become frantic, dreading the big hunt.

As instructed, Lo'ak, Rotxo, and Kiri remain in their den, watching the uproar from inside. With worried faces, they each think around the same thing; Hoping their friends will be okay.

When they think of hunting, the risk of death hardly crosses their minds, because the waters they've hunted in are, supposedly, significantly safer than the waters of Paltu.

Na'haji said Aonung and Neteyam could handle it, which is what the two boys in turn told them, but seeing the stressed state of the villagers makes them worry.

Out at the beach, Na'haji has led his chosen two to the weapon's shed to gear up. They're surrounded by the intense atmosphere emitted by the hunters around them, which Neteyam finds all too familiar.

It reminds him of preparing for a mission back in the forest. Its sense of urgency and all seriousness is something he hasn't felt since their last fight with the Sky people, when they rescued Aonung.

As he grabs whatever he needs, there's this feeling that seems to serge through his body, stretching into his limbs. He grabs a crossbow, and double checks himself making sure he has everything he'll need.

Aonung- Neteyam.

He turns his gaze to Aonung, who looks concerned.

Aonung- Are you alright? You're shaking.

He suddenly notices the tremble in his arms, and quickened heartbeat. Something's welling up in him, but it isn't fear.

Neteyam- Yeah, I'm good.

With a smile, he reassures Aonung. Yeah he's trembling, but with anticipation. For some reason, the thought of treading into dangerous waters is exciting him.

Aonung nods, believing his words. Na'haji looks to them once he's fully prepared, and upon seeing that they're ready, he beckons them with him as he goes out to shore.

There, a certain bright eyed boy stands with his own gear in hand, looking more relaxed than most.

As they approach him, Neteyam's gaze wanders out to the horizon, wondering what their hunt will be like, then Na'haji's instructions pull him back into the moment.

Na'haji- There is a system. Everyone has a partner to watch their back and help when needed.

He looks directly at Neteyam, then places a hand on Yune's shoulder.

Na'haji- My brother will be yours.

Neteyam- So you can be with Aonung? I don't think so.

Na'haji- You should consider yourself lucky. Yune often senses danger before anyone else.

Neteyam- So we're just ignoring me now?

Na'haji- Look out for him, and he will do the same.

He completely ignores his protest, making Neteyam roll his eyes.
