They all look to Yune, and he glances at each of them before his gaze stops on Neteyam, looking directly into his eyes like he's searching for something.

Yune- It was a noble goal. I will not apologize for helping him reach it.

Ronal- What?

Neteyam- So you know what his goal was?

Yune- (nods)

Neteyam- How?

Yune- I could see his restraint. It was like watching a poor diversion.

Aonung and Neteyam meet each other's gaze. Somehow this boy could see right through Mo'dan's seemingly crazed actions.

Jake- So you're saying it was all an act?

Yune- Yes.

Ronal looks at her son with concern.

Ronal- Did you know this?

Aonung- . . . Yeah.

Ronal- Why would he do that? Why did you not stop him?

Aonung- He did it for me, and Neteyam. He knew how I felt.

He stands from his spot, followed by his sister, making eye contact with Lo'ak, then Rotxo. But he doesn't say anything, and diverts his gaze.

The green eyed boy suddenly gets up as well and walks over to Aonung. He reaches a hand behind him and grabs the base of his bond, startling the future leader. As he closes his eyes for a moment, he focuses on the feeling running through the many sensitive nerves of the queue.

Having some stranger touch Aonung so casually bothers Neteyam, despite knowing he's a healer which makes this behavior natural.

Neteyam- What is he doing?

Cin'lan- This boy is the one with the dull feeling, yes?

Ronal- Yes.

Neteyam looks between Cin'lan and Yune, annoyed by his own confusion.

Neteyam- Seriously, what is he doing?

Jake shoots him a look, silently telling him to calm himself. It's obvious he feels a little too protective of Aonung at the moment.

Cin'lan- Do not worry, he will find the problem, it's why I brought him with.

Neteyam watches as the boy's bright eyes open again. He releases Aonung's bond, then turns to his mother.

Yune- The numb feeling is fading.

Ronal- Numb feeling?

Yune- His problem is reversing.

Ronal- But what is the problem?

He looks back at Aonung.

Yune- You shared no love with your mate, did you?

Aonung's eyes widen a bit, surprised at how easily this boy saw through him.

Cin'lan- Be softer, Yune, that is a delicate topic.

Yune- It is no different than any other.

Neteyam stands and walks over to the boy, stepping between him and Aonung.

Jake- Neteyam-

Neteyam- Okay, enough of your heartless prying.

Yune merely looks at him with that piercing gaze, as if he's looking into more than just his eyes. It's almost intimidating, yet captivating at the same time.

Yune- So this one is the reason.

Neteyam- Problem?

Jake- Neteyam, calm yourself.

Ronal- Is Aonung okay or not?

Cin'lan- Yune, stay focused.

He goes back and sits in his spot next to his mother.

Yune- He was rejecting his mate so harshly, it affected the feeling within his queue, the source of their connection.

Ronal- Oh dear.

Yune- Do not worry, he is fine now, with that mate gone.

Aonung abruptly turns and leaves the den, making Neteyam glare at this heartless stranger.

Cin'lan- Be careful how you say things.

Yune- I am only stating facts, mother.

Neteyam- What you're doing is being insensitive.

Yune- But you are happy for this news, are you not?

Neteyam- Of course not.

Yune- That is not what I saw.

Neteyam- I don't care what you think you saw, you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Lo'ak goes over to Neteyam, grabbing his arm gently.

Lo'ak- Bro, calm down.

Neteyam- Who does he think he is, barging in here and saying things like that?

Jake- Lo'ak, get him outta here.

Lo'ak tugs on Neteyam's arm.

Lo'ak- Come on, bro, let's just leave.
