"Airendrielle..."
Slowly turning to face Airen, I got a closer look at him. Now that he is in front of me, I can remark that he appears to have prepared for this day because his hair is styled, and he is donning a really flattering suit. His watch, which he is also wearing, exudes elegance. I kept looking at him and blinking. While I was dubious of what to say, he was smiling at me.
"I know you already know or have a guess who is behind those who give you secret gifts. We've known each other for several years, but I just wanted to say sorry if I just introduced myself now."
I'm really out of words. Hindi ako makapagsalita. Hindi ako maka-react. Ang daming pumapasok sa isip ko na kung ano-ano. Ang magagawa ko lang ngayon at tumititig sa kaniya.

Tumango ako. "H-hindi ko a-alam sasabihin ko..." Ang daming tanong sa isip ko!

Gusto kong tumawa dahil sa tono ng pananalita niya pero pinigilan ko. Secret courting and in love... Pinilit ko naman ang sarili ko na alalahanin ang lahat ng pinag-usapan namin.
"May nagugustuhan ka na ba? I mean, nililigawan?"
Ako na ang bumasag sa katahimikan dahil parang ang lalim ng iniisip niya. Natanong ko 'yon dahil gusto ko lang malaman. Aaminin kong, may itsura siya. Matangkad, matalino at maputi rin. Ang soft niya ring tao at mabait. 'Yon pa lang 'yong napapansin ko sa kaniya sa loob ng ilang araw na magkasama kami.
"Uh..." sabi niya habang gulat na nakatingin sa akin. "Yeah, I like someone. Actually, I'm courting her secretly and I'm secretly in love with her."
Napa-'o' naman 'yong bibig ko dahil sa gulat. "Hala, talaga? Chika mo naman!" Siniko ko pa siya ng bahagya at natawa siya sa sinabi ko.
