Right Time
RHEILA'S POV
"Home can be a person at times."
I overheard Airen and Andrei's conversation at the gym since I had just come from the restroom and was now coming near them.
"Kaya pala kapag tinatanong kita kung nasaan ka sinasabi mo, "home", sabay send ng picture ni—"
"Ni?" Sabat ko habang iniipitan ko ang buhok ko. "Daya niyo. Hindi niyo ako sinasama sa chika."
"Picture mo—aray! Fuck, ang sakit, ha!" I just laughed and shook my head when Airen punched Andrei's arm. Pinitik ko naman ang tainga niya.
I approached him and I pinched his ear. "Ayan, ingay mo kasi."
"Fuck you, both! Masakit, ha! Ang sadista niyo!" Daing niya.
"Watch your mouth." Nag-make face lang si Andrei kay Airen.
"Bagay nga talaga kayo, mga mapanakit!"
Airen and I laughed together when Andrei suddenly left. He even threw a towel at us, but Airen immediately grabbed it. We spent some time in the gym and left.
"Gusto kong magpunta ng mall."
While walking, I was taken aback when someone quickly placed his arm around my waist, followed by a jacket that he was now tying around my waist.
"Babe, you have stain." He whispered from behind. I felt myself blushing because of embarrassment and I couldn't move for a moment. Shit! Nakakahiya! Dammit, bakit ngayon pa?!
He walked with me and opened the car door. "Stay there and wait for me."
I just nodded while I couldn't look at him. Nakakahiya talaga! Ayoko na! Ngayon ba ako dadatnan? Hindi ko na alam! Nakalimutan ko na! Ang alam ko lang ay gusto ko nang magpakain sa lupa!
After a few moments, I looked at the car door as it had opened. "Here." I stared at him as he handed me a paper bag. "I-it's... Whisper with wings..." I just nodded at him, and I felt I was blushing! I took my bag to look for my extra shorts.
"Bathroom lang ako."
I didn't wait for him to say anything before hurrying to the gym's restroom. We are, thankfully, still here. Buti na lang talaga! Aa, hindi ko makakalimutan 'to!
"Are you really,okay? May kalmot ka, oh."
I merely nodded and smiled at Airen, as if to say, "I'm fine." He was concerned because he had heard that people had crowded me again at our shooting location. We went to the plaza since I had a sudden craving for street foods. Of course, someone recognized me and I snapped a picture with a girl, but it seemed to have spread that I was there, and people started paying attention to me. We didn't have a bodyguard with us that time since we didn't realize there were that many people there.
