Another day, another breakdown. I just rested all day at my condo, while Airen just watched over me. Ayaw ko rin kasi siyang umalis. Ewan ko rin, e. Feeling ko kapag umalis siya, hahanapin ko siya. Kaso, I feel guilty because I know he has a lot of work and meetings to attend to.
"Ai, okay naman na ako. You can go now, nakakahiya. Dami mo pa yatang clients."
"I can turn down more clients for you, Rheila. I can handle this." He smiled at me. I just nodded to him and went to sleep.
Pero hindi ako makatulog.
Nakapikit ako pero hindi ako tulog. Ang daming pumapasok sa isip ko. Halo-halo na. Pero ang pinakang pumapasok sa isip ko ay si Lucas. Para na akong tanga kakaisip sa kaniya. Nago-overthink ako sa mga pwedeng mangyari. Nakamove-on naman na ako, 'di ba? Nandyan naman si Airen...
"How's my girl?"
I didn't realize that I fell asleep, so I blinked repeatedly to see who was in front of me. Shit, did I hear it right? Napatitig ako kay Airen.
He asked me in a way that was comparable to Lucas.
"Uh, I'm fine. Thank you."
I went to the office the next morning since we had to be measured for the project we would be working on. Even more so, I was really surprised by how quickly a design was created; all we needed to do was assess it. Of course, something still has to be finalized in order to improve its beauty. Next week is the start of the shoot, so I am expecting to be busy. My schedule is not too hectic this week so I will spend that on Airen because I know he will be busy next week as well.
"Have you seen the designs?" Lance asked me which surprised me.
"I just peeked a while ago. I haven't looked at everything yet." He nodded.
Of course, nandito rin sila para sukatan! Thank God, wala si kwanan dito! Kung hindi baka hindi ko na naman malaman ang gagawin ko.
"Turn around, Miss Rheila."
I did what Ate Clea told me, the one who measures me, that I shouldn't have done because I could see Aaron in the mirror! I'm facing the mirror now and so is he.
"Are you ready to do the work we'll be doing?" I looked at him from the mirror.
"Sakto lang."
Nang matapos kaming sukatan ay nag-break muna 'yung ibang staff sandali kaya gano'n din kami. I immediately left the room to go out and go to a coffee shop.
