A request by our amazing Winnie!

AN: Also, this was actually written by AwesomePinerin, who's helping me get through the long list of oneshots we have on the way. I have a pretty busy summer outside of writing, so let's hope you all enjoy it and I can try to be as productive as possible.

Note from Pinerin: This is my first oneshot directly written for Milo! Hope you guys like it :))

Adelaine's POV

We're approaching the end of our school year, and this year has been one of the best so far! I've been consistently earning good grades, and the preparations for this year's drama will see me perform in front of everyone for the first time! I'm so excited! Right now, I'm walking to the school hall for the daily assembly with my best friends, Lexi and Sammy, and they cannot stop raving about the new game console that came out recently.

"So, how's the Xbox One, Sammy?" I ask, clutching lightly onto the strap of my pink backpack.

"It's amazing! The graphics are way better, you can play so, so many games on it too! Nothing's better than playing Minecraft on it, and I've been playing a lot of Terraria with Lexi too! Those games are fun, Adelaine, you should play it when you have the chance!" Sammy says.

"Yeah, Adelaine! Though let me tell you, he wanted to buy that game with tons of swearing and got told off by Dad." Lexi giggles.

"Sis... you don't need to mention that." Sammy blushes.

"I'll definitely give it a try when I visit! It sounds fun!" I squeal as we enter the school hall, with the three of us sitting right next to each other. The announcements were pretty routine, though one announcement from our Drama teacher, Mr. Parker, got me focused.

"Just for a quick announcement. A reminder to all students that the Fairview Elementary School Talent Show is in two weeks! The deadline is tomorrow, and remember to hand in the interest form by Friday." Mr. Parker says.

I twirl my long hair, a bit worried. I was the winner of last year's talent show by singing one of the most popular songs of the time, combined with ballet alongside Lexi and Sammy. We're going together again this year, but we just haven't decided on what to do yet. I'll talk to them about it this lunchtime.

After a few lessons where we learned about multiplication problems, the three of us got together for lunch.

"So, you heard that announcement from Mr. Parker, right?" I ask.

"Yeah!" Lexi and Sammy say together.

"What should we do then?" I continue.

"Ooh! What if we do ballet?" Lexi suggests.

"Lexi, that's so generic. Others are gonna be doing that too." Sammy rebukes. "Why don't we do a dinosaur dance?"

"But that's stupid. Ballet is the easiest way to win this competition!" Lexi turned cold and sounded slightly irritated.

"Lexi, we need to bring something new to the table. We did ballet last year, and I don't want to do it again this year." I say.

"But me being in a dinosaur suit looks dumb!" Lexi groans.

"Sammy, I'm fine with doing a dinosaur dance. What about you, Lexi?" I inquire. Then, Lexi lost it.

"I don't want to do a dinosaur dance!!!" Lexi yells and suddenly sweeps her tray to the ground. "You two don't care about my opinions!!!"

Sammy shouted for Lexi to stop, but her moody feelings were acting up again, as she began to scream and yell at the two of us. The teachers were quick to escort her out of the canteen, as I blushed in embarrassment. Lexi's no stranger to these sudden outbursts, and sometimes Sammy also has such outbursts. Some hate on the two for these tantrums, but honestly, I don't mind. It adds a little bit of personality to both of them, and they're nice to be around.
