Issac's POV

I have had quite the productive day. I've done a lot of work on my audios and editing. I also posted some VikVoks on my account to promote my audios. I take my headphones off; finally done for the day. I stand up and stretch. Ugh, even though I've been sitting in a comfy chair all day at my desk, I'm still sore and sleepy. I should've worn my glasses while editing; the UV light from the computer is hurting my eyes. I yawn as I step out of my bedroom. I hear chuckling as a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Good to see you emerging from your dark little cave." A thick Irish accent teases.

"I finished my videos and smelled something cooking, so I figured I would check out what it is. I've done a lot of work today and- A yawn interrupts me -a break or stopping for the night would do me some good."

"Stopping for the night would do you the best. It sounds like somebody sounds sleepy." Charlie hums, hugging me.

"I am getting tired. What's cooking in the kitchen?" I reply, hugging back.

"I grilled some burger sliders in the air fryer. Tristan wanted to play some video games together after dinner." He replies.

"Sounds good to me. I'm going to wash up. Did Joan or Alia get back yet?" I ask.

"Joan got back two hours ago; you didn't hear the garage open? Alia should be home shortly." Charlie says.

"It'll be nice to see them," I mutter.

I walk to the kitchen sink and wash my hands. Joan was walking around the kitchen and preparing the dining room for dinner. Tristan was helping, folding the napkins and passing out silverware. Tristan hugged me, and Joan came over, pecking my cheek and ruffling my hair. After the table was set and we were about to eat dinner, Alia got home. She changed quickly and sat next to me at the table. I yawned and ate my sliders. As I was finishing up dinner, I was beginning to feel a headache or a migraine coming. I finished my glass of ice water and rested my head in my hands. I need some sleep and maybe an aspirin. I attempted to listen to the conversation, but I just kind of sat there, trying to ignore the headache that was now in full force.

"Papa, are you excited for game night?" Tristan asks.

"Of course, I'm always excited to hang out with you," I reply.

I stand up with a bit of a wobble and then walk into the kitchen, searching for a painkiller or something to help make this migraine go away. I take the aspirin that I find and then put my plate in the sink, washing it clean before putting it in the drying rack. Alia walks into the kitchen, cleaning off her plate and then hugging me.

"You stumbled a bit back there; you okay, Darlin'?" She asks.

"Yeah, I'm okay," I reply.

"Okay, but needing to take an aspirin?" My Southern Belle questions.

"My head was starting to hurt; I think I've been staring at the computer too much today..." I mutter.

"We can play if you want to just go lay down and get some rest? Maybe head to bed early tonight?" She purrs.

"That sounds nice, but I don't want to disappoint Tristan," I reply.

"Go to bed; you can't exhaust yourself." Alia hums and I agree.

I was about to step out of the kitchen when the rest of the family walked in with their dishes. I put the bottle of aspirin back, but not before Charlie and Joan saw it. Tristan quickly went into the living room and prepared the game. The two of them came over, worried looks on their faces.
