A oneshot from our lovely Winnie!! Another AJS story! :)

Adelaine's POV

"Miss Jones, here's your coffee milk tea with boba, matcha pearl, and classical bubble tea, please." The waitress says. "And here's the pistachio cake slice and the strawberry cake slice."

"Thanks, Ma'am." Kelsey thanked the waitress.

"No problem. Enjoy!" The waitress replies as she walks away from our table.

It has been a whirlwind few months for me. I had to prepare to leave for Switzerland to study at the University of Zurich, all the while I filmed my very first commercial movie, which turned out to be a massive summer blockbuster hit. The movie gave me a taste of my future prospects as an actress, and while the job is demanding, I also find it rewarding, especially when the movie is flooded with likes and is well-received by both the general public and critics alike.

But now, I can finally wind down a bit with my two sisters, and unfortunately, it will be our last for a while.

"Adelaine, I'm definitely a bit bummed about you leaving us so soon... you changed my life forever, and the house would feel a bit empty without you or Hugh around." Kelsey murmurs.

"Yeah, Rosie! We'll definitely miss you a lot!" Diana chimes in.

"Don't worry, you two. I'll be back often. You guys can visit me in Zurich, too. Auntie Margaret lives in the Duponts' centuries-old mansion that never seems to run out of beds." I smile, sipping on my matcha pearl milk tea.

"Mhm. I just... I actually don't know how to thank you for it." Kelsey says, looking down at the cake slices.

"What's 'it', Kelsey?" Diana asks. Kelsey stayed silent for a bit.

"My adoption." She speaks up after a bit.

"Oh no! No need to thank me for it, Kelsey. I'm willing to forgive what your past self did, both in the past and in the present. Your contributions to our family are already a 'thank you' to me." I beam in an attempt to comfort Kelsey.

"I'm still kinda surprised that you forgave me after I nearly killed you." Kelsey looks up to me, with Diana looking slightly concerned. She knows the basic outline of the story, but we've decided to hold back the gory details until later on.

"There are only three types of people whom I will never forgive, Kelsey and Diana. One: Those who betray my closest, like Enrico or Edward. Two: Unrepentant jerkasses like Matthew or James. Three: Those who insult my family deliberately, like my Dad's ex-wife." I sternly state. "And Diana, you should hold this to your heart as well. There will be people who are complete monsters, those who may harass you. But there are also troubled people who genuinely want to change but don't know how, and you should give them a chance unless they cross the line."

"Wow, Adelaine. That's a great speech on the fly!" Kelsey and Diana clap slightly.

I blush a little bit. "Thanks. Years of being Department President does that to you."

"You know, Adelaine, I haven't told you about this yet, but I'm going to enroll in the GPD Academy next month. I'm planning to prepare myself to become a Private Investigator." Kelsey smiles.

"That's great! You might even be able to become a bodyguard for us if we actually make it, Kelsey." I tease.

"Not until I get the curves! I need two types, actually - muscle curves and womanly curves." Kelsey laughs. She then spoke in a more genuine and sad tone. "You know, Adelaine, jokes aside, I really, really wanted to get breast enlargement surgery in the near future. I don't like how my boobs are basically flat."
