0703- The Talented Mr Rollins

"I told you not to ask Mary for help." Spencer tells Emily.

The five of us are sat around the loft talking about Elliot and Mary Drake.

"If I had listened to you I wouldn't have seen Mary and Elliot together." Emily tells her.

"So you saw them arguing, what's so suspicious about that?" Hannah asks.

"No it was the way that they argued, like they were familiar with each other. This definitely wasn't the first time they met." Emily tells us.

"Then why would they want us to believe that they did?" Aria asks.

"I mean, we know Mary's working with a man. Maybe it's him." I have yet to meet this guy properly.

"No, Elliot would never hurt Alison. He loves her." Aria says.

"Does he? Because since she's been in his care she's only gotten worse." Emily points out.

"I understand why Mary wants to avenge Charlotte's death but why would he?" Spencer asks.

"I don't know. I mean Ali called me begging for help, she's clearly scared of someone in there." Emily says.

"Doesn't mean it's him, Mary could be working with anyone." Hannah speaks up.

"Okay, if that's true, why didn't she call him for help instead of me?" Emily asks. Is she serious? She all know she's Ali's favourite, obviously Ali was gonna call her.

"All of this happened right after Mary got a hold of Ali's jacket." Spencer says.

"And we suddenly weren't allowed to visit anymore." Aria adds.

"Maybe that's because he doesn't want us to see what he's doing to her." Spencer says.

"Yeah, well I did and it's awful. He had her strapped down to a bed like an animal." Emily says.

Fuck that's scary.

"If it is Elliot, he's more of capable of doing a lot more than that." Hannah says and I nod.

Surely there's a rule where husbands aren't allowed to medically treat their wives? We should use that and try to get him away from her.

"Yeah, we need to get her away from him." Emily says.

"How? She's his patient and his wife." Aria asks.

Before I can speak up about my plan, Hannah jumps in. "We go to Welby. We talk to someone in charge and we tell them what's going on."

"Okay, you guys do that. I'm going to go and talk to Toby and see if he can find a connection between Mary and Elliot." Spencer says.

We all stand from the sofas, except for Aria who looks panicky.

"What is it?" Emily asks.

"I just keep thinking about the night that Alison and Elliot came to my house when they asked me to marry them. They seemed so in love." She speaks up.

Crazy how manipulation gets people to do crazy things.

"I wasn't aware that Dr Rollins was treating Alison but I assure you she's in excellent hands." He tells us.

"She's deteriorating every day, physically and mentally." Hannah argues.

"Sometimes patients get worse before they get better." He tells us.

"Not like that they don't." I tell him.

"Sometimes medications need to be adjusted until we get it right. I'll make sure Dr Rollins keeps you apprised of her progress." He stands.
