0704- Hit and Run, Run, Run

The four of us are digging this grave.

"I don't know if I can live with this." Emily cries. "I mean, how can we bury... there has to be another way."

"There is no other way, Emily! It was a well thought out plan and when it ends like this it's called first degree murder." Spencer shouts.

I'm just digging and crying.

He's dead and we killed him.

"What are we gonna do with them?" Spencer asks.

I aggressively wipe at my face to get rid of my tears and then look over to where she's looking.

Ali is sat on the floor outside the car just staring into the nothingness. Hannah is still in the car just staring into nothing.

"She's in shock. It will wear off." Aria says and I nod in agreement with her.

Hannah finally comes out once we're burying Elliot's body.

"Han, maybe you should go sit in the car with Alison." Aria suggests.

"Seriously, we got it. Just go sit in the car." Emily tells her.

"No. I need to help because if I don't do something, then..." Hannah argues.

Hannah starts helping with her shovel.

"Hannah, if you want to, it's still not too late to go to the police." Aria tells her.

"We've been over this Aria." Spencer spits.

Lily. If this ever comes out I won't be able to help her.

Fuck, maybe I shouldn't be allowed to be near her.

"I know and I still don't know why we can't tell them exactly what happened." Aria argues.

"They'll never believe us." I say as I scratch my nose, I'm caked in mud.

Emily and Aria start arguing but over each other so it's not clear what anyone is saying.

"It's like Grace said, no one's going to believe us when we have every reason in the world to have wanted him dead." Emily tells her.

"Yeah, what truth is that?" Spencer shouts. "The one where Hannah doesn't know the right pedal from the left?"

"Hey, don't go there, this was an accident! We would be in the same position regardless of who was driving." I defend.

"Everyone just take a breath. Okay?" Emily tells us.

"We have one choice here and it is to make it look like Rollins skipped town." Spencer tells us.

I carry on burying.

I can't believe this is happening.

"And why is anyone gonna believe that?" Aria questions.

"Because he was a dirtbag." Spencer all but spits.

"Look, all we need to do is cover our tracks." Emily says.

"Yeah, is that all?" Aria questions.

I can't with the arguing. None of us want to go down for this so why the fuck are they arguing?

"We should be good at it by now. We've had a lot of practice." Spencer argues.

"Look, if this is gonna work, we have to get her back to Welby before anyone notices she's missing." Aria tells us and I glance towards Ali again.
