Don't blame me••••••
"I - might actually - kill - you-"
"Hey, don't blame - me okay?"
Edmund glared at his brother. "Who else - am I gonna blame?" He grumbled.
Peter raised his arms in surrender as he stopped walking. "Okay, but you're the one who wanted to go on a walk." He said.
"Yeah, a walk," Edmund muttered. "Not - a hike."
He sat down in the grass, letting out a sigh as he tried to get his breath back. "Drag me - up one more bloody hill - and I'll push - you back down to the bottom." He warned.
Peter couldn't help but laugh, but he couldn't deny that it had been one hell of a walk. "It's not worth it for this view?" He asked, staring out across the woods below.
Edmund rolled his eyes. "I'll appreciate the view when - I can breathe again." He responded, laying down and not really caring that the grass was slightly wet from the earlier rain.
Peter sat down beside him, patting his knee. "Hurry up, we don't have all day." He said. "We've still gotta walk back."
"That won't be too bad." Edmund told him. "It'll be mostly downhill."
Peter smirked, finding all this extremely amusing.
He reached into the shoulder bag he had and brought out a cloth, within which were two of Susan's chocolate chip cookies.
"Want one?" He asked, offering it to his brother.
Edmund didn't say a single word and just snatched the cookie from Peter's hand.
